2 Cabir vs 400 Shantiri Titans - Heroes VII : Impossible Battle 

I remember this fight, I did an implosion that crits and 400 titans insta die. You might think implosion is imbalanced but it is only in master rank with crit and on very high spellpower.

Isn't spamming Implosion + Summon Elementals much more mana effective than this?

Summon cheese elemental! OK, but seriously: I think this (even if it's intended to maximize the cheese) illustrates why I didin't like the game as much as some of the other Heroes versions (and I suspect part of why it got a lukewarm reception from fans): The awkward interaction between everything based on "regular metrics", ie. stuff that increase more or less linearly - such as gradually built up towns and army sizes; but also spells based around some version of "X + *Y" - and the spells and abilities that function regardless of scale such as this one or implosion that would essentially one-shot a stack regardless of its size. For sure: All the games have had spells that could blind or bless or even teleport entire stacks around - powerful to be sure, but it still meant your hero was there merely to enhance the power of an already existing army. You still needed to invest in that army to remain relevant even at high level. This isn't the first time either: HoMM games where the hero eventually renders the army itself obsolete - thus cutting out a large part of the game - have usually fared poorly (looking at you, H4).

Did you mod/cheat in any way (to get a high level hero, for instance) or was this honest cheesing?

I have no clue how you managed this, but based on the date of video you should be using the same version of H7 as me. And thanks to Ubisoft bugs, I can't even produce 1% as many shadows on a high level Wizard, let alone an exponential series of them.
