2 Days in Oklahoma City

We are taking an RV cross country road trip adventure for the first time.
On this leg we drove to Oklahoma City.
My family is from Oklahoma but I have never been there so I was really excited to finally see the state and city they are from.
So we came in with no plans, no place to stay, no list of must sees we didn't even know how many days we were were going to stay, and that's completely out of my comfort zone. Luckily the Oklahoma Welcome Center had so much information and by the time we reached the city I had a plan.
What we did in our 2 days:

07:28 National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum

19:11 Oklahoma National Stockyard
I loved Oklahoma CIty, I don't know if its because its in my DNA or if its just that good of a city, but I had so much fun and was highly impressed.

I was the cook at the long horn Cafe in the auction house. To serve the workers and occasional guests who stopped through in between auctions, so I learned a lot while working. It was the best job I've worked at. Felt like living in the Hay Days of Oklahoma having the horses lined up outside and the cowboys coming through. Though clean up was another story lol

Oh wow that is so interesting! I had no idea that there use to be a cafe inside the auction house that sounds like such a cool experience. My family was from Oklahoma so it holds a special place in my heart to begin with, but after visiting and seeing it with my own eyes, I love it so much more. Thank you so much for sharing your stockyard experience with me I really enjoyed it.

We always just drive by Ok. City and head for Tulsa. But, after seeing your video we will make it a destination. Thanks.

We change the pens to the buyers pen. So they start out in the yard, then after they come in get weighed then go to the auction room, afterwards they go to the pens belonging to the buyers till they are loaded on to the trailers that evening.
