2 Days with the AC Infinity T10: First Impressions and intro to my theater room under construction

I haven't seen any decent videos on these AC Infinity AV Component coolers so I bought one and giving you my thoughts on it. Also, I take up a couple minutes introducing my theater room under construction. It'll be a bit before it's completed and I may make another video once it's done. Overall, for $100 I'm fairly happy. I wish the display would dim more than it does but it appears to keep my AVR run about 30deg cooler so perhaps it'll lengthen the life of the AVR.
I will be buying some new surround speakers. Those Polk Audio T90e's are about 10+ years old and all I've got at the moment. Thinking bipole speakers on the sides and bookshelf on the rear.... Comment on what you think I should buy. I do have 4 RSL C34E's coming for the Dolby Atmos ceiling speakers.

Very nice theater you're building. If you leave it set to SMART, it will never even reach 80 degrees. I'm running my T10 on top of my Monolith 7X power amp with about 3" of space between the next shelf above. Also, leave the fan speed to the middle setting and you probably won't be able to hear it. Great unit. Good choice!!

How is the exhaust temp? Looking to get one for my 4700, and trying to figure out how hot the exhaust is so I can decide which orientation fits best

Great Idea for the loft. Sound in the middle of the home and will not bother neighbors. Sound will be nice for movies. Cables under carpet eventually?

I've been curious...when how warm is the exhaust air coming out the front? I'm trying to decide which direction to have the exhaust. Ill be running my x4700h to its absolute max pretty soon, at least for a little while, and my center speaker is about 8" above the receiver on a glass shelf. I have a little riser coming that it will sit on to gain some more separation. The wall in about 6" behind the avr along with many cables. Cables not directly in the area but in the general area, there are a ton. I have no issue with exhausting from the front, as long as the air isn't going to go right up into the grill of my 404C. So, what do you think, and how's the exhaust temp

Really incredible setup. The hell you do to afford a svs pb16ultra. Lol. Im getting an aircom t10 and a panamax m5300pm. Thanks for testing this product as my marantz sr5008 runs kinda hot as well.

fdfc78 the walls are complete and the equipment is in the AV closet. I’ve now got surround speakers on the wall and 4 atmos speakers in the ceiling. Running 5.1.4 setup for now. Still work to be done though and eventually I’ll get a projector.

David Greenwood I was just trying to push the receiver a create some heat to demo the fan is all. I make a better video soon now that the room is nearly complete.

BWWGL9 the idea was for the receiver to create heat and had nothing to do with enhancing the video.

Just ordered my t10 tonight.. i have the x4200 denon, just got that today and it gets very hot.. how has the fan been holding up

I have a 3.5 cubic ft space in my entertainment center. Currently I have an xbox one x in there on the top shelf with an exhaust fan and on the bottom shelf an intake fan. I am removing the shelf, so my question if I keep my tv center doors open do I need an intake fan(have two exhaust fans) or keep one intake and one exhaust fan?

Nice set up but he should have put a projector to have a 150" screen thats wath i did.It makes a real cinéma experience .

Yes powered up so Smart or Auto modes will stop the fans when the temperature is low enough.

WHEN YOU GET AROUND TO RUNNING SOME REAL SOUND EQUIPMENT ...YOU NEED to be COOL. THE 8" AC-Inf. T-8 line ..... KEEPS MY (6), yes 6 HAFLER 500 Watt AMPS running 78deg. YES THAT 500 WATTS EACH...STAYING COOL. THE ADS, "RECORDING STUDIO MONITORS" SOUND SUPERB OF COURSE.... Only 253 pair were ever made..... the Infinity Reference Standard 1's, are a distanced 2nd. I'm in TRI-AMP MODE.

I to have concerns on my Denon running hot. I am looking at the aircom series by AcInfinity also. But I heard you say it isn’t as quiet as they say. Just how loud is it? If it is in a enclosed cabinet would you still be able to hear it? Also you can install a decibel meter app on your phone to get readings. Not sure just how accurate it is , but it is in the ballpark.

I know your comment is old, but i do have the T8(blows hot air out of the back, not front) and it really works good. The product website says it 'silent', but you will always hear the fans running, even on speed 1. Speed 5 = hairdryer level of noise.

Exactly like demon said. Mine blows air out the front. On speed 1 I don’t hear it but when it’s on full speed it’s loud

cool set up, just wondering about that fan display, is there a "Auto off" or a dimming mode after a certain time. My media rack is right below the TV so having that bight display while trying to enjoy a little R/R would a little distracting. .

Kevin Pearson this is 1 piece out of a 3 piece set I bought at Target like 12 years ago. Not sure what the name brand is but I think the entire 3 piece set was like $300 or so
