This video looks at the AC infinity t10 cooling system with automatic programmable temperature probe with three 120 mm dual ball bearing fans controlled by a pulse width modulation motor. Designed for closed cabinets and other tight spaces where heat can build up. Simply one of the most popular devices in home theaters today meant to cool your components.

I have the exact model for my Denon...I have it on auto with the eco on...every once in a while I'll check to see how it's doing...and it has been doing just fine for a long time...I highly recommend this product and if you pay over $1500 for a receiver...$100 is a good investment for its longevity.....

Great video, thank you. Not sure front exhaust is best for my set up, but I know now there are other options.

the site clearly explains, this fan is for OPEN not CLOSED cabinet configuration, how else is the heat supposed to be exhausted. Good video tho

Question. Can you set how much fan speed you want with each temp? Example: at 90° I want full fan speed. At 95° half fan speed and at 98° I want the lowest fan speed (or no speed if that's possible)? My example is kind of backwards for it's intended use. I'm planning on making a home made gadget.
@tacticalAV
@tacticalAV 5 лет назад
Yes you can do that, the control interface has fan speed and temp adjustments, although you can also set the mode to smart, on, off, auto and one more. What I do, is have it turn on softly at 76 degrees at speed 1, if it reaches 80 then switches to speed 2 or 3 and you can control that. You could design an industrial fan setup if you wanted with this, but it is controllable in a lot of ways. very well built.

It looks deeper than 1.5", but presumably that's merely an optical illusion of sorts. I have a very tight enclosure above, only just over 1.5", so even this device will be a tight fit.

Yes you can just switch the figures through the menu

I'm leaning towards the T10 and size is perfect for my Denon AVR-8500H. What holds more value the S10 w/two thermal trigger modes vs T10 thermostat programming with six speed controls?

Can't really hear you very well over that music. No idea why you'd want that playing, not only is it horrid music, but it clashes with your talking...

Great Video! I am not sure if you still have this but I am 1/8" short based on the 1.5" height specs- Think you could an exact height measure to see if it could possibly be 1-3\8" ? Thanks!

curious on a couple things 1. (25db) is pretty loud in a quiet room - i had a netgear fan cooled wifi extender rated at 25db. it was too loud. I sold it and replaced it with one w no fan. My cable box alone is too loud. it requires me to close the closet equipment door in order to not hear it (but of course, that keeps the heat in.) Q: Any way to get it more quiet (without turning it off?) 2. So, if you set it to turn on at 77degrees, then when its not on, it's clearly restricting heat to inside your receiver, causing it to heat up faster since its sitting on top of the receiver vents. Then, turning itself on when it reaches 77, just to keep the temp down to 77... guess i'm not seeing is the value. Could you simply not use the T10 at all and keep the temp down to 77 without that being on top of the equipment, right? Have you seen your equipment get past 80 degrees? I think you get my question. Thanks for helping me understand its value.

I've had a T8 in my amazon cart for two years now. I should have brought it than, when the price was a bit less. now they stand at 120. GREAT VIDEO!

I've had my TO since February 2019 for my TX777 by Onkyo. I set it in smart settings and it will keep temperature based on demand to save energy. I've set the trip for temps and 85 and 90° respectively and on days when it's hot and not humid, with the windows open, the highest I've seen them go is up to notch 5 and back to notch 4. When the receiver is off (i am work). The fans might pulsate periodically, ambient temperature pending, they will otherwise turn off unless the room temp goes up. I love these. They are now on my new TX797 by Onkyo. Good luck with yours.

Hi, had your marantz got fixed?

Yes, thankfully I was able to get it fixed under warranty near me so I didn't have to ship it anywhere. Drove with it in the car and made sure it was safe. Had the right front channel amp replaced

This has got to be the best review by far. I'm ordering one today should I get rear top or front extraction even if my 4500 is not enclosed? I want top extraction but it will get dirty over time since nothing will be over it.
@tacticalAV

Awesome, I like the front exhaust options as some of my equipment is in a rack with a glass door. The only thing about the front exhaust is it usually provides the best airflow since I can actually feel air sometimes sitting on my couch all the way from the fans. That is just for the setup I have though if you're not putting anything on top then top exhaust could be your answer. These things literally save the AV receivers since they get so damn hot.

At 5:23 you say "I can legitimately feel a strong flow of air....".What do you mean by legitimately? I just bought my second T10 to sit atop my A-S1200 Integrated amp after being so pleased with the one I bought for my 3060 AVR. These things are so well built and super efficient, just a shame they come with that stupid American plug that is useless to us Brits so we have to lash out more £s for an adapter.

Thanks for the advice! I changed a few things and run it on smart mode now lately and it really doesn't seem to ever reach 80 or over operating all day.

Do most people just leave this unit turned on? The reason I asked is because someone in the family may forget to turn the AC infinity unit on and then the AVR burns up.
