Eric should have stopped before drawing that last card, and that would have done it and won him the Plymouth Colt. But on the bright side, Sherman was driving away in a Lincoln Town Car (with a perfect game, similar to Stephanie 1and a half years earlier during premiere week in September 1991) and Dorothy and her significant other were driving away in a pair of Dodge Shadows.
Bob always loved to tell contestants "I'm sorry". No wonder Bullseye and Side by Side actually automate that message on occasion, and it's no wonder Phil Collins tried to figure out how many times he said it in a song.
I miss the bigger audience. Price is right now has 50 people in the audience. It was more exciting with the bigger studio audience. I still watch but that changed the dynamic of the show.
As did I, he was within the winning range but on the wrong end. Talk about premature celebration when the contestant thinks he or she won only to find out that it was a loss.
@@graigmellon7874 Not long after that, the Card Game started offering five digit priced cars only, with an $8000 opening bid, and the range cards being $500, $1000, $1500, and $2000
@@graigmellon7874 Just to be even more honest: like a contestant on the Big Spin (a regional California Lottery game show) when a contestant reacted to what she thought she won a million dollars only to have that ball fall out of there as the wheel was still slowly spinning. But as only luck would have it... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X-o824v4Qzo.html
Best showwhere contestant's are happy for each other winning . And Bob Barker is the greatest?"animal lover" in a fantastic show promoting añimal safty through them being spayed and neutered.
46:18 -- I guess he forgot about the "without going over" part. OTOH, in the Showcase you often see the first bid reveal to be way under the ARP (a difference of $10+ or something) and the contestant reacts like they've lost for sure...but forget that the second contestant can go over (and often do).
SO MANY DAMN ADS. The original 1993 ads are okay. The RU-vid added advertisements are insane and make the video nearly unwatchable. Stop the greed - if you want me to keep watching your channel.
