Im sick so I searched this up so I could experience the nostalgia of staying home from school and watching this on TV. It’s weird how you can feel nostalgia for an experience you didn’t even enjoy. Not that I didn’t like the show, but I was usually sick when I saw it so I associate it with having a fever lol
Oh my gosh-- "probably" adding up the prices of the items in the showcase as they're being shown is better than adding them up from memory at the very end. In these past few weeks of watching these old episodes, I don't think I've seen both contestants bid so low.
As soon as he asked the question about winning the first prize, I too thought: "what an interesting question" - do you remember how this game was played before if someone won the first prize but not the second? I can't remember.
This one was a little different-- it probably used 2 seconds every time he said, "800," plus a second or 2 for Bob to say "lower." It was almost hard to watch when he started at such a high number.
4:00 He’s going to start at $1,000,000 and keep going down by increments of $1 as fast as he can and hope there’s enough time on the clock to get to the number he needs!!!!!
ralphedds1 i do to, but i promised, and even though i never met bob, one person in the family has though, anyway, bob didn't have to do an oath, but i've stayed a loyal friend of the price is right, and will until the end!
I agree .. bob is irreplaceable .. he was unique, charismatic, charming .. he was perfect for the job .. drew can't compete with that .. he's just doing his own thing
@@markheying2830 I’m being honest, I think I saw this one on first viewing and was shocked by the price too. I’ve seen too many people overbid on those type showcases with campers. But I had no idea this was like the Golden Road motor home.
Either a) this was recorded straight to DVD or b) it was recorded with a TV tuner to a computer. The CBS feed came from either satellite or digital cable.
Jeez that David kid was annoying as hell lol bobs old and he wants to just strong arm him into a bear hug? No wonder why bob didn’t high 5 him Lmao. I wonder if they tell the audience before the show to not touch bob or gif him or anything. I remember seeing somewhere that he didn’t like it and he broke his toes more than a few times from people just stomping on them.
