Ok, I got the same exact stuff you got and the guy at Big O says there’s going to be too much camber and is trying to sell me the next size up cams. I live in Longmont CO and tried to make an appointment with Kennedy in Commerce City, but this is the second week they are booked up. I guess I’m in the same boat as you having to try and get these guys to get it in the ball park, then get Kennedy to do it right later on.
Chain stores cant line up a stock vehicle. Any mods and they are lost. Kennedy is the only place in Denver that can do it. Seriously, they are the only ones.
No. I use Monroe coilover rear shocks. After I removed all the seats and put on the HD coilover shocks, it raised the rear a strong 2". Plus, the stiffer rear shocks got rid of almost all the sway in the rear of the van.
@@winmag4582001 LO206 karting is where it is at in today's karting world. At our last event there were approx. 80 karts entered with 100% of them being 206 karts. They have made karting an affordable great time again:) We use the very same van as yours those a few years older for our karting. Took out the back two rows of benches and built a nice platform with the kart going below and all of the tools etc. on top. Works great!

The bolts are the main thing. You can get hard washers at the parts store. 3/4"-10 x 8" Grade 8 Zinc Yellow UNC (Coarse) Hex Head Cap Any of the 2" 2wd Ford F250 spacers will work. Poly if you want quiet and aluminum/steel if you want something that will never crack. Ebay has 2" spacers for as little as $40. All spacers are the same. Go with either of the front shocks I have in the video, Bilstein or Rancho. Do the HD Monroe coilover shocks in rear. Makes for a nice setup. I have another van video of a 2" setup also.

Thanks for the video. You have made this easy for the rest of us. Question on the Bilstein shocks. Will a 33-187570 5100 series shock work. From what I can tell it sounds like their 5100 series can be lifted 1" to 2". Can't find specs on either this shock or the one you reference. Thanks
I contacted the Bilstein rep and they recommended the one I show in the video, the one I used has 2" more travel up and down. Rancho recommended the one I reference in the video. Factory shocks only have 4" of total travel! Any lift or leveling will require a different front shock. 33-187570 may work..... check the body length and overall travel. I can only recommend what I used because it worked. There may be other products available...
First of all, Thank you for an awesome and helpful video! Where and what bolts do I get for this? I just put 265 tires on and desparately need to do this lift to get more clearance.
Did you use the stock springs and shocks in the front? What size tire are you running now? Did you have to install a drop bracket for the sway bar? Do you have wheel spacers in the back? If so, are you concerned about the semifloat axle? I've read horror stories but I won't be towing or carrying much more than kids and camping gear.
Stock front springs. Aftermarket shocks. Sway bar and steering are unaffected until you go past 2.5”, I only added roughly 1.75” of front ride height. Stock size tires. Rear shocks are Monroe coil overs. The semi float axle is a light weight HD rear. Most failures are due to building the van overweight and abuse.
Brett, I did the same spacer lift on my E350 Club Wagon. How's the ride with the Bilsteins? I noticed with the spacers installed - the suspension is conciderably stiffer and wondered if these shocks would make it too harsh of a ride.
After I spent the money on the Maxx Lift I did some research and found that the F250 spring and perch were the same as the E series vans. I've done 3 vans since using those. Hey there - how did you remove that long bolt that attaches the I-beam to the radius arm? I got the bottom nut off but the bolt will not move. Is the bolt threaded onto the I-beam itself? Here's an album of the bolt I'm trying to remove: imgur.com/a/uqucY9d
