Literally yesterday on stream a viewer asked Otz "When are we gonna get the two hour compilation of all the times you failed" and otz went "Tomorrow" and we all thought he was joking.
NO! NO! NO! Many people say I am sick in the head. NOOOO!!!! I don't believe them. But there are so many people commenting this stuff on my videos, that I have 1% doubt. So I have to ask you right now: Do you think I am sick in the head? Thanks for helping, my dear wo
It's nice to see that this guy has over 2 hours of footage for his paid actor reel! That's really impressive, hope this helps him get noticed by some bigger dbd channels such as Otzdarva
going to be honest, the little life lessons at the bottom at 10:00 would be fine if the game was balanced, since its not and survivors can easily do something like this even without hacks AND that theres even a possibility of masking said hacks with seemingly normal gameplay otherwise is the issue. Ive said it once and Ive said it a thousand times, this game is trash, scooby doo + home alone, hitting the villian over head and into traps, silly trash game lmao so slow paced and sluggish for killer side, every action, breaking pallet, kicking a gen etc, takes like 3 sec, and very fast paced for survivor side and is only remotely entertaining depending on the streamer youre watching.
When the footage stopped, I looked at the scratchmarks, where claudette was, and then I knew. I yelled, but he could not hear me. Truly a tragedy. Nerf pig.
it's the same thing outside of streamer interactions as well. It is rare to see ANY survivor say GG when they died, they'll only ever do it if they escaped. This community in general believes that GGs are only when they escape, not actually when the game was good by definition (both sides are more or less equal, and the match is close)
I was the Mikaela in the 5th game! I wouldn't call that match a case of you "getting destroyed", but still it feels pretty cool to be a part of the video. Thanks for the nice words in the end game chat. I didn't see the message because I left quickly. gg 1:03:44 1:04:32 I think you've already realised that but there was no animation going on when you hit me. I started unhooking right after the hit. 1:06:32 "... this is a person that wants to get rid of their medkits for the Archive. Probably." Spot on! I even brought a coin for good measure. lol
I’m glad otz actually posts videos like these, I feel so many “pro” streamers make it seem like they kinda invincible and this makes me feel better about when I have bad games and I’m not a professional, if that makes sense?? Makes otz seem down to earth and relatable! He’s definitely my favorite dbd streamer
this honestly hurts to watch since the survivors play extremely well and then leave otz wondering how the game could have changed if something he did turned out differently
@@oktoberfest5866 True but because of the way its run, no how survs have massive game changers like boons which provide whole perk benefits to a fourman. Killers have to play practically without mistakes against a good team, but even with mistakes survivors can get out. It's hard but it's true.
even the most experienced and best DBD players have these moments and they don't give up they say GG's then go to the next match and do their best to win and have fun in the game.
This is why I love you otz. 10:20 you were a little tilted while playing because of a bad game and that happens to all of us. But you still made a editors note to let us know it's still important to focus on what you CAN control! You're only human, you get frustrated too but in the end it's what we do with that frustration that matters
Don't worry Otz you aren't blatantly accusing people of hacking and with the uprise of subtle cheaters in high ranks I understand the frustration and paranoia that comes with it. Those 103% speed survivors, 30 second exhaustion perks and 5th invisible perk resilience makes chases awfully painful to deal with no matter how good you are. And with totems like Circle of healing around you are forced to commit to almost every single chase which makes it worse.
I’ve started playing twins recently and have got a lot of 0 kill games, but I’ve realized you can’t win every game and even pros have bad games. I’ve learned to still have fun during the games where I get destroyed and the game is so much more enjoyable
what ive started doing is if i get 0 kills and theyve opened the gates, i just go and watch them leave, nod my head, spin around, try and say a goofy goodbye haha. and if ive downed someone right before, i usually carry that person to the gate theyve opened so they can leave too :) the only time im mean is when someone abandons their teammates
I wouldn't try to self-induce Stockholm Syndrome if you have a bad game. Usually I record the back footage on my Ps4 and see where I went wrong and learn from it, or I play something else/get off videogames for a bit entirely. Losing matches isn't a problem but if you're getting crushed when you're doing everything right then it's really not enjoyable. I just wish the game would indicate if you're going up against SWF in the lobby.
In a game where the killer is supposed to be feared and is the power role, it certainly looks like here the survivors are the power role and they fear nothing. Only way to get that feeling back is play at the lowest of MMR and against potatoes. So glad I am in that group because otherwise it would be a major slog
Not gonna lie, I learnt more watching this video than literally any of your tutorials. Strictly because I often find myself in a No Kill situation as Killer
People overreact to everything. They act like clicking a flashlight is the same as a racial slur. And everyone who plays well is a cheater. People idolize Otz too much I think that there just has to be some excuse for why he loses. It can never be that they played well and he played poorly.
Even though I really love your usual videos of really cool builds on killers and how you play around them, it's honestly nice to see games like this as well where you reflect on games that didn't go too well. Not only does it make me re-evaluate how I handle my moods when I get stomped on in games as a baby killer, it also makes me feel relatable and relieved (not in a bad way) that you go through the same frustration as everyone else at times.
I love how though in the moment you seem frustrated you put notes in the bottom telling us what we should be doing in the same situation, what a good video :)
This is a great collection of gameplay, I don't get a chance to see the live stream very often so as a mainly RU-vid viewer, it is refreshing to see not only crazy 4ks with a lot of skilled gameplay, sometimes domination, and come from behind victories - but the other side - coming up short vs. great teams, close games that just slipped away, vs. great solo players, cheaters - just like everybody else. Otz really might be human?... (existential crisis)
1:07:00 onwards, this sole match perfectly shows why slow killers without anti-loop powers/high mobility (aka slightly more than half or the roster) suck. This was one big chase with a person who actually know how to loop. By the moment they run out of pallets and start taking hits, the game will be over. Even better, if you have 2-3 people who can do that, the game is literally unwinnalbe, even if they are not using comms and info. You can juggle survivors and try to catch them off guard, but that is also not very reliable tactic, since people now just start to run when they hear TR closing in (or teammates just tell them where killer is going).
And the whole chat is just a sea of "this is the best survivor I have ever seen" "this is amazing" "shes way too good". While this is just very basic jungle gym/shack looping, she's just merging from jg into shack into another jg. Save vaulting windows and god pallets against a no anti loop killer. One slip up in a completely save jungle gym quickly gets corrected by a skillful press of "E". Just shows you how casual the playerbase is.
@@Darkfire-1306 doesnt even have to be a cheater. The loops are just very strong. Its on the survivor to mess up as a killer youre just a puppet who has to follow and hope for a mistake
Otz never gets destroyed, aside from the "let me finish" incident, that cost him his entire career, that being said this is CLEARLY Not otzdarva, so we dont need to worry about this stranger.
the way you mentioned the scratch marks at the beginning i thought you were about to say "these scratch marks were left by a demon, who was about to come out of my computer"
On that nemesis match, they were a 4 man SWF. The fact that 1 of them was PC doesnt mean anything, they were on coms in discord. I do that all the time.
Your whole perspective of that Bubba match kind of changes after seeing the Nancy's screen was stretched so wide, she could probably see into the future.
Hi Otz love all your vids. Learning from your tips and gameplay I have become a rank 1 killer with only 20 days played so far. Thanks for everything you do for the DBD community you're the goat!!
posting videos of you losing is extremely helpful actually. i dont watch your streams so i only see the games you win on yt but seeing what you lose and how you lose is actually helpful to my game knowledge
I love how he defends the Nancy by saying "Guys, she just wants to be chased, be respectful" when she's doing the exact opposite of respectful. This is how this kind of stuff gets enabled and then he gets surprised when he finds out that survivors who play like that are typically not nice people.
I love how the twitch chat is a collection of whiny dudes who struggle to admit that somebody just fairly beat otz in the chase. If you get triggered by the clicking, that is your problem but it didn't give the nancy an advantage, so who cares. Pathetic that you think twitch chat is in the right here, when otz is just taking the whole thing with ease, while twitch chat whines like somebody stole their candy.
@@mariusacripina8192 found the toxic survivor. The point isn’t that Otz lost the chase, it was the tbagging and clicking at the gate followed by a no gg. Otz gets triggered by toxicity as well, he just continues to give survivors the benefit of the doubt then gets it thrown in his face a lot.
@@zero_cali_4772 I don't even play this fucking game anymore, because the community clearly has some mental problems. I don't give a fuck, if you want to be miserable then go off king.
This might be my favorite of your videos that I have seen so far. Only because it shows you are human. Most all of the videos that I have seen you dismantle a team of 4 with easy. You are very good and I enjoy your content!
LMAO that Jane xddddd tbagging, gets her teammate killed cuz of that.. and then proceeds to tbag again :D lmao that made me laugh so much :D it's as if she tbagged herself for killing her teammate :D
I feel like these videos should be named when and camping goes wrong. It seems like as soon as otz has some resistance and can't tunnel somebody out of the game he loses.
that nancy with the flashlight might as well be the best survivor ive ever seen. I always cheer for otz, but the nancy was so good that lowkey i started cheering her lmao
Man this weirdly made my day. Seeing someone who is ridiculously good at this game has rounds like this too kinda makes me feel better about some of my worst rounds.
You lost that second Huntress game because you played way too nice. They did their best to annoy you by running to a corner/4% into DS&hatch/genrush, while you respected _every letter_ of the holy survivor book.
"to annoy you" bro. You are literally so Delusional. Its literally just Smart to do that. Tell me you are a 100% Killer Main without telling me you are a 100% Killer Main
@@bayonsn8378 And you tell me ur a survivor main. When a survivor plays efficiently it's considered smart but when a killer does the same (tunnel/soft camp) it's bad
I tell you depending on the killer I am using I get the same maps. If I use Michael I can never seem to get an indoor map same with nemesis. I use trapper indoor map immediately. It's like whyyyyy.
it's really nice of you to show your youtube audience that you are actually getting destroyed once in a while. That the game just don't go as you plan sometimes and you can't win every match. it's totally okay
I like that you're showing your rough games, I get really upset when I'm losing or getting outplayed, but it's nice to know that even a popular streamer who plays good can have bad days.
1:56:14 I had that same bug happen yesterday, too. I was playing Wraith & went to grab a survivor who was sabotaging a hook and I got stuck in that animation. Couldn’t be pallet stunned or anything
Yeah it's a known bug that can happen based on ping between both ends. Problem here is they were lag switching to cause it to happen intentionally. Jeff did it on death hook and the Nea did it so she could crawl out.
@@matierre. thats like a very normal thing when online gaming. I play mostly survivor and never dc cuz why? Everyone is playing the game, someones has to loose in the end.
If this was the real otz, He’d be playing against the paid actors he always plays against. Me, When I play killer I end up facing 5 survivors everytime I play.
Nice to see the editors notes showing what you learned from the matches. Also nice to see you call out the people being nice in endgame chat to you specifically after teabagged at the end. I know people can crouch as a "hey that was a good close match" but it's still nicer in my opinion to just leave or give the killer a final hit.
1:12:00 does anyone else think there's speed hacking here? I know that shadowborn makes survivors look like they're zooming, but even then it would be good to see a side by side comparison with someone testing that moment out as it were, feels like she's zooming away and making distance better than 100%.
When I watch videos about particular maps, I get those maps randomly 3 matches in a row. When I watch a video about a certain killer, they’re the only one I see. When I watch Otz have bad matches after bad matches you already know how my night of gaming is going haha
pretty sure nancy was using wall hacks on sheltered woods canibal match. knowing where otz was in every loop and know exactly when to leave. something sus there.
I really appreciate this video. Like others said, it feels nice to see these games happen to all of us and it doesn't automatically mean we're bad just cause we have some bad games. Course we can always improve. But ontop of it glad to be reminded that I'm not the only one who gets a bit irked by Survivor BMing. Just very hypocritical too that Survivors can teabag at the gate, clicky clicky, spam noise notifications and if I get irked people go "Yo it's just a game lmao it's not that deep get over it." Oh but if I slug someone cause I see another potential down right in front of me, making a tactical decision at 2 or 1 gens I'm "a sweaty toxic killer who's ruining everyone's fun." Also I love the callout on toxic survivors who are only nice when they realize they're Killer was big famous streamer man. Though I also really like the reminders that we shouldn't let them get to us much. Some people are just impolite people and we should be better than that ourselves. TLDR: If people could just take their wins with grace and say "Gg" after the match I wouldn't mind if they 3 or 4 man escape me every time.
I'm just starting the game myself and have prestiged one killer and am now testing out survivor. I've had games where I crush and others where I'm completely crushed. I guess it gives me a bit of confidence seeing that having bad moments isn't because I'm especially bad. It's normal. Just have to learn all the tricks in the game and get more experience to build some confidence.
"Not" Otz: I've only got three hooks and they're on their last gen, this may be gg for me Ash IV me playing hilbilly: It only took two gens but I got one :D
So you think that they shouldn't balance around the majority? You think 99% of the players should have to play unbalanced? Also you think that this game even is balanceable?
@@Lucas-jf5zu yeah, developers of competitive games (like cs go and league) balance their games around the pro players, something that could be mediocre for a bad player could be so broken in hands of a pro, that doesn't mean the game is unbalanced, it just mean you need to get good. The game could be balanced, and it's already starting to get balanced, they nerfed keys, hatch, moris, ds, they fixed dead hard, and a bunch of other stuff, but the game still needs a lot of changes
Man that nancy chase. The sad part is that this what a survivor can do to otz of all people and all it takes is to realize that game is designed around survivors. They got to make big mistake to go down, like be on open or fuck up a tile. Outside of that, your skill matters very little on beating them in a tile. The magic here is to just wait at certain corners and that is it. Once you learn the patters of jungle gym, good portion of the killers are basically fucked.
Has near perfect gameplay *Pause* So we're going to take a quick second to analyze what went wrong. As you can see here, this single pixel was a slightly darker shade of brown, meaning the survivors were going to completely dominate me and make me shit my pants. If I had paid attention, this could have been a less difficult game
Maybe this will sound like hate or something like that, but is not the case: is cool to see proplayers having hard times too, i mean, when i see this i think "hey, they have bad days too and he is so chill about the game, maybe i can have the same mindset in my next bad game", he is dissapointed, but still chill, gj otz, keep whit the exelents videos and streams :3
2:14 Otz, why are you afraid of losing? It's a game and you have all of the characters & perks unlocked. Plus you're already a professional Twitch streamer. That's like Jeff Bezos being afraid of losing one thousand dollars.
@@Stabath if survivors can stack prove thyself with brand new parts and get zero judgements for that, then killers shouldn't get flak for tunneling someone right away.
After a while you start to see which survivors are stretch rez and which aren't. In that first game there were a few using stretch rez, but man on top of that, they were FANTASTIC survivors.
I’m a survivor main but I think Blood Favor should activate when a killer reaches bloodlust. I think that’ll help killers more instead of activating after a hit, giving survivors distance to run to pallets that aren’t blocked off.
