@starvnny3535 you never ever hear that a concealed carrier stopped a crime. I know alot of concealed carriers in my town and surrounding towns, not one of them has ever stopped a crime. Most did, however, state they would step in to stop a crime in progress before the class and during fingerprint time. But nothing after finishing the class. Most are scared citizens anyway, I wouldn't expect a private citizen to step into such a role. They're only looking to protect themselves at home from a break-in or robbery, they won't do anything out in public.

To those who repeat the same played out comment regarding strict gun laws when there's gun violence in states like CA and NY, where are you now? Arkansas: Does not require a permit to purchase a firearm. Allows open carry w/o permit. No ban on assault weapons. No mandatory waiting period when purchasing a firearm. Has no red flag laws. Comparing gun violence and deaths on an absolute basis between states with varying populations is braindead. Which states have the highest gun deaths per capita (including both homicides and suicides)? Mississippi (red), Louisiana (red), Wyoming (red), Missouri (red), Alabama (red), Alaska, (red) Arkansas (red), Montana (red), New Mexico (blue), South Carolina (red). This comment isn't meant to stir the pot on a contentious topic but rather address the lie that more guns make a country safer. Any INNOCENT AMERICAN regardless of political affiliation dying from gun violence is a tragedy and those profiting from it love seeing the common people at each others' throats because it takes the spotlight off them. No one has said why this shooting occured, or what they think might have been the reason...Not that any reason is a good one...However, what triggered this person...was it just a random shooting, mentally ill, was someone in the store a target, was it against the store, a family problem????? We have seen and heard all the other info...but why?
