@MrEldoradot even our grocery stores are open carry. That's why my state doesn't have this problem. Grandma's will take them out before anyone manages to call for help.
We have, but criminals don't obey laws. It doesn't happen in areas that have a zero tolerance for stupid stuff, but there is always that one. I live very rural in Texas where everyone either carries a firearm or has one in their vehicle and we don't see stuff like this.

The elder generation raised those children. Boomers have shown how they don’t care about anything g but money and power. Guns in the hands of violent and ignorant people is the direct result of the older generation and their policies and political leanings. Blaming young people is misguided, at best.

I would bet it's because his life sucks (due to his own decisions) and he decided to take it out on society. Seems to be a common theme in these incidents with perps this age.

@@michaela6147 - There are good and bad people in every profession. The vast majority of police officers are honest and are there to help the public. I have known hundreds of them and can count the bad apples on one hand.
Half those people that “claim” they know someone involved just wanting to be on tv. I personally think no one but law enforcement should be interviewed when these things happen.
