Now that is one cool looking toque! I didn't realize you had such a long drive Matty - pretty drive in and out. Nice! Good rationale on the rear blower. Makes sense for you. Have a great weekend!

Almost winter again, whohooo. A tractor and a cab is the bomb, yes I bought an inverted blower as we've used them in Scandinavia for 60+ years. But if you have to deal with drifts they are not optimal. I follow GP Outdoors and bunch of other Kubota and Deere channels. I bought my tractor for primary winter use here in Montana, but I've branched out to much more since then. I LOVE snowblowing, and now I embrace winter in my old age. Tractors makes fun out of chores.

It is fast approaching!! Like you my primary need was for snow removal but now I enjoy everything the tractor can do, they definitely make fun out of chores, or make them not chores at all!! Enjoy Montana and thanks for the comment!! Right on!!

I have a similar setup and love it. We use the loader in to move hay and clean up snow edges. My seat turns about 20 degrees to the right. The cab is awesome. Great video. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the comment! Is the turning seat after market or a different brand or size of tractor!?

@@thatoutdoorlife2275 turning seats are very common on Agricultural tractors. I have a T4.75 New Holland 75 HP tractor.

I’ve got a cab tractor and a rear mount blower I use the mirrors and rarely need to look back . I have a snow pusher on front that works great also

This^. Mirrors save your neck. I only turn to look when I am getting started down a row or if I’m getting close to something.

Nice job, Matty. I’ve got a little over 200 meters in my driveway, 50 meter front walk plus a four car parking area. I, too, have the rear blower and, while a bit of a pain in the neck, I see it as a lot less of a pain than the 10 hours of shovelling! 😂 Having the use of my loader, pallet forks and grapple all winter is a must for me so it was a no brainer (especially when you compare the up front cost!). I can get up and down my driveway in about 15 minutes in the morning, if I’m in a rush, and can get everything cleared in about 30 minutes, so it’s not too bad on my aging neck. I’m considering a read camera, too, as that would really make it easier! Keep up the great work!
@thatoutdoorlife2275
@thatoutdoorlife2275 2 года назад
Thanks James! I don’t know how anyone can manually do long drives… so yes definitely better than shovelling. In the end It all comes down to what works best for you and your circumstances. If you get a rear camera please share your experience. Right on!

I'm just the same boat with a rear blower. I use my loader more than I blow snow and plus a short driveway. I have a HLA 60" snow pusher with backdrag that I use to push as much as I can to the side and then only need a pass or two to blow it out of the way. Inverted blowers have their place but when you have 5-10' drifts you can't drive through those.

Stephen, thanks for the comment. I think there is no right or wrong, just what is best for your specific situation. The snow pusher with back drag must be great! Right on!

New Sub. I just ordered the LX2610 Cab. Can’t wait to get it. I want the rear blower too. I use my loader and Grapple all winter long and agree about changing improvements on back. Much easier. Front blower looks like a hassle

Hey Matty congrats on the new channel enjoyed the video. I am a GP subscriber and agree that you tube is great for learning re tractors etc. I ended up buying a 2032r around 4 yrs ago for my property . No cab but love my unit and have put 700 hrs on it so far. looking forward to upcoming content.

Robin, I actually didn’t know about it when I bought the one I have, but as I say in the video I do like mine as it is nice hitting virgin snow, and your steering isn’t impacted by deep snow because you are clearing the way. I may get a backup screen at some point so I don’t have to twist. Thanks for the comment! Right on!

@@thatoutdoorlife2275 thanks for responding! But I was meaning like from cutting edge or bucket to the very End of the blower. And the over all weight for tractor with loader and blower on it
@thatoutdoorlife2275

@@davemoore6107 I can take some measurements tonight. Tractor is 2072 lbs, loader plus quick hitch and bucket is 562lbs and blower is 680lbs... so 3314. Have to add in back quick hitch and my rear tires are loaded with ballast... so I bet close to 4000lbs total. Will reply again tonight with length
@davemoore6107

@@thatoutdoorlife2275 thank you really appreciate it!..ya online I seen tractor was roughly 2100- 2600lbs I figured the cab would be the 2600 and the ROPS one would be 2100lbs
@thatoutdoorlife2275
@thatoutdoorlife2275 9 месяцев назад
Dave, you’re right, there were two tables, tractor with cab is 2557 lbs, all other weights are good. Overall length with bucket on the ground - cutting edge to farthest point on snowblower while lowered to the ground is approx. 192” or 16’. Remove bucket and you’re about 172” or 14’4”. Let me know if you need anything else. Cheers!
