Thanks for watching the L2501 is a nice tractor it can do a lot of work for sure .A cab would be nice but its a lot of money for the little bit i use it 69 hrs in 2 years have a great week
Thanks buddy for the great video, I've been waiting for a great L2501 snowblower video. I love my rear blade, but with our deep snow we got this year I think a front snow pusher and that blower in the rear would be a great combo. My l2501 has out performed my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with it. My dad up in west central Wisconsin has received 55 inches in 4 weeks, one storm had 15" followed by 12hrs of 55-65mph winds. He's literally got 6ft of snow everywhere, and drifts as high as his roof. You definitely can't push that away. That's such an impressive looking blower. Topped with the look of those tire chains. Well done! Great machine. Thanks for sharing
the snowblower would work great in deep snow .and at one time we did get big storms here .i think i scared the storms away with the l2501 and blower lol
Great video. I moved up from a B2620 with front blower and rear blade to a L2501 with a front snow pusher and I swap between a 60" box blade and 64" blower on the back. I can't imagine a better combination for my lake effect snow
The blower is very useful when the snow banks are getting high or if you get way more than 6 inches. Below that, I personally prefer plowing. I saw you clearing the parking with the box blade while in reverse and the bucket while in forward. That is optimization! Thanks Jennifer and Arles for sharing!
i think i like the box blade the best for plowing .a snow plow or snow pusher on the front might work well to but i dont have one yet. thanks for watching joe
How's she goin' folks? That blower works some nice!!!! Yesterday was the first day this season that I used my blower too. More snow today now, so I think the blower will get a work out this afternoon or tonight!!! Thanks for posting. Take care!!!
I went from a B2620 with a front blower and rear blade to a L2501 with rear blower and front pusher. Like this setup a lot better. B had to have chains. Haven’t needed them on the L. Try golf cart mirrors on loader bracket. Mine are held on with magnets and they help a lot.
Seems like the L2501 has a little more grunt vs. the B25ish hp series. Waded right through that previously plowed dense stuff and shot it a mile. Well not a mile but you get the gist.
i have a friend that has the same snowblower on a b series tractor and it didnt perform that well so he traded his tractor in and got a b series with a 33hp i think .he loves his blower now
The snow blower is a great addition to your implements there. I'm wondering... does the local municipalities put down any salt on your roads up that way?
Hi jay thanks for watching .You will be very happy with your L2501 .I got my trygg studded chains from my Kubota dealer in Windsor Nova Scotia they are great chains i also have the rear tires loaded with windshield washer fluid .today there will be a new video of the chains being installed
Another question... I move totes with firewood... 4x3x4ft high... do you think the 2501 would lift a tote full of stacked firewood? I'm not sure of the weight...
no the hydraulics on the l2501 are weak they say it will lift 1000lb but i doubt it .I tried to lift a 3/4 of a tote of water off my pick up truck and got my son to drive it a head and the tote dropped fast
@@CountryLivingWithTheHarnishs wow!!' That's a lot of weight though!!! Wood vs water is a big difference, probably 2 to 3 times the weight. I think it's possible that maybe a 1/3 full of water tote might be equal to a full tote of firewood.
@@kw5kw People are getting more cautious when it snows here even though we are getting less then we used to and staying home more often when it snows. Thanks for watching. ~Jennifer
@@bombidude it was around 3000 i think it was on the tractor when i bought it .It was a package with the wheel spacers and four tire chains and the rear tires are loaded i am in Nova Scotia Canada
This is Jennifer, I do the editing. Arles watched a video about making good RU-vid videos and the guy said people don't like to hear a lot of engine noises so I have been taking them out and adding music, I can definitely leave the engine noise in, thank you so much for letting us know that you want to hear it.
@@CountryLivingWithTheHarnishs Nah! I wanna hear that tractor. When I am not on my tractor I get comfort from seeing and hearing people on theirs. It's an addiction.
@@roflstomps324 we were just starting our channel and we did not think people wanted to hear all that noise but we were wrong . we do have video with lots of tractor noise thanks for watching
Man does your accent sound familiar. Strange question but what state/province are you in? Edit: Never mind. Nova Scotia. Close enough. I am from Newfoundland and you sound like all my uncles.
it not only throws the snow further and keeps clogging to a minimum, it also keeps gravel from getting caught between the impeller blades and the housing
Thanks for the feedback. If you check the date the video was uploaded you will see that it is an older video and everyone starts somewhere. On the other hand, if you check the views, I think this video has done quite well. Jen
