Love your ride man great choice! I know everyone who buys these rigs all say the same thing "Great truck and I love it but the MPG is bad". I imagine if you put it into perspective every pick-up truck has poor fuel economy by design. It just comes with the territory man and we all put up with it. Even the mid-sizers don't get good fuel economy, it is what it is and that Green baby of yours will outlast anything Ford, GM or RAM will make any day. Kyle Tennant I would go down to a dealership and see the colors in person. (I like the Wind Chill Pearl) In 2014, my wife was dead set on the Blizzard Pearl Camry. We went down to the dealership and ended up changing her mind because she saw the Comic Gray Metallic color and liked the way it changed colors based on how the sunlight hit it. I have owned F100 and F150, my F150 had 200,000 on her. So when I went back to look at 2017 F150 I wanted a bigger displacement V8. The eco boost are great engines but 2 turbos I did not want the expense of repairs down the road. I keep my trucks till they die. So I test drove a Tundra and I was hooked. I bought 2017 Limited now with 47,980 miles mostly towing a 24 travel trailer. No issues at all. At 17,000 miles I added Magnuson Super charger, this is my last truck so I figured why not. I love all the brands because I am a truck guy, but I love my tundra and have talked a lot of guys who own them with high miles and stil love their tundras. Go Tundra!!! You have a great truck and colors.

How well does that TRD Pro suspension feel? On the fence about buying a newer, used 1-owner TUNDRA TRD Off-Road or TSS and doing a 3/1 level kit with aftermarket wheels and tires....or waiting another few months and getting a clean used TRD Pro.. I hear the Off-Road package or the TSS with level kits tend to ride a little bumpy. I hear the TRD Pro rides like a cloud, soaks up all the little bumps and grooves in the road.

Have you had a situation where you wish you had a diff locker? I would love to hear your take on this. Thank you.
@UntamedMotors

LooxGood admittedly I’m probably not the best person to ask as the only off roading I’ve done has been easy-moderate trail driving... nothing extreme and certainly nothing that warrant the use of a rear locker tbh. Joshua Royer the Raptor is certainly in a different league. I personally take a ton of pride in driving my 4Runner TRD Pro though... If I had to pick one to keep forever, it’d be the 4Runner hands down. It’ll hold value better too than the Raptor. The Raptor will likely get a supercharged V8 variant in the nearish future... which will undoubtedly drop the values of the V6s in a hurry. These are great trucks, but keep an eye open for leaking cam towers. That’s a well-known issue with the 5.7 and if it starts leaking and the truck is still under warranty, the dealership will NOT bring it up to you because it’s a huge job and they don’t make any money off of warranty work. Otherwise, these are really well-built trucks.

@drivedb7
@drivedb7 4 года назад
James Valdez - Not sure where you heard that, but take a look at the forums and you’ll find that owners are still having problems with leaky cam towers on even the newer ones. Toyota just can’t seem to figure out how to seal things up inside. The GR V6 is also famous for leaks although those like to leak from the timing cover despite them having over 15 years to sort things out on that engine. 🤷‍♂️

@UntamedMotors
@UntamedMotors 4 года назад
Haha, I was going to mention that in this video... I'm indifferent on it. Obviously I appreciated the fact that this color was "special" for 2020 Pros but, there will still be enough differences between this and the Trail to make this the noticeably better one. The Tundra and Tacoma generally have their unique colors carried over to the following year anyway so it's nothing "new" per say, but the fact that it's being applied to another "special" edition makes it a bit different. If they were putting on the 2021 Pro, I'd have stronger feelings on the matter. With all that said, sounds like they're offering Cement again and another color i forget... so the special factor is being diluted across the board.
@rotorwind177

@pjrodriguez9755
@pjrodriguez9755 4 года назад
Jason Rios hey dude, thanks! So I’m a long time Toyota guy. I’ve owned 3 tundra and 3 Tacoma’s. One of the biggest reasons was Toyota’s inability to evolve the tundra. It’s completely neglected which shows in its sales numbers. Sure it’s reliable as hell. But shouldn’t anything be reliable that hasn’t changed in 14 years? A rocking chair is going to have a lot let’s issues than a recliner. I was frankly just bored with the tundra and it’s aged platform was starting to annoy me as all other manufacturers were innovating so much. It’s only been 3 days but this raptor is unreal. It’s also such a head turner , I’m not use to the attention coming from a vehicle nobody gave a shit about lol. Other reason was, the raptor is just simply damn good looking.
@jasonrios664
@jasonrios664 4 года назад
Pedro Rodriguez I agree with you that Toyota has not evolved like the other brands. I understand that for some this is acceptable. But it’s been way too long and overdue. I remember when I bought my 2017 Trd Pro Tacoma the reason was because the Tundra was going to be redesigned soon. If I had know it would not be until the model year 2022 I would have just bought one back then in 2017. Now we are in 2020 and no new Tundra for 2 years and most likely 3 years for the Trd Pro. Yes it will be a great truck based on the rumors but by then I could be enjoying another truck.The Raptor is the nicest truck today. I know that a new redesign is coming by the end of the year for the f150 but most likely not the Raptor. But I will soon make a decision and see how it goes. I would not want to get bored with something.
