Your truck looks amazing. Congrats!!! I hear you because my Tundra is only four months old and i am skeptical about drilling, changing stuff that i might ruin in the process. I am not the handy type so messing something up is always in my mind. I am glad your mod turned out great.. Cheers.
Awesome!! I ordered the same combo! I also ordered the climate control knobs. For some reason, I thought they looked kinda cheesy in black, so I got cement with red screws and an extra set black just in case. Nice set up
I did the red bolts on my previous army green tundra TRD pro. You can check it out if you’d like... it looked good! In case you have OCD like me, I think it’s important to note that they are slightly more pink in color.. kind of a dark cherry blossom red. So it doesn’t match stitching 100%. It’s why I went with back this time tbh.
Looks really nice. I ordered mine a few days ago. Also, because I have the SR5, there's a lot of brushed silver on the center floor console. So I ordered one online that's all black like yours.
That looks super nice. I'm planning to put those same pieces in. Where did you get the red screws? The ones that come with it are black. But I really like the contrast with the red screws.
Thanks untamed. Can you tell me if the red screws match the red stitching and red trd pro lettering on the console? The screws appear to be brighter red in the video.
@@UntamedMotors Man I REALLY like the way that looks, but I hate the idea of pulling out my console and drilling holes into it. Just have more important things to do, like GO FISHING.
Michael Parsons the Rams look great in and out... that’s a tough decision. I think the Pros will just sustain value better ...so I’d go that way, even it meant “sacrificing” on creature comforts.
Same predicament as me. Ram is very nice. Modern inside and out. Hemi. But I'm concerned about long-term reliability... the other thing is tundra's 4wd system is part-time high and low. Ram has 4wd auto that you can run on dry pavement. You cannot run tundra's part time 4wd on dry pavement...
looks good much more rugged. if stuff doesn’t come stock the manufacturer should make everything easier to replace interior wise so we can custom it easier
Just got the army green tundra yesterday. My 2015 tundra had the key fob case from ajt when I traded it in. The sales guy was in awe of it. He wanted to get one. I bought the same pieces you have but with black screws for my old tundra. I never installed them so they are going on my new one. Hope I don't screw anything up.

@@UntamedMotors you were so right. It was way easier than I expected. The new black pieces are so much better looking. Toyota should start buying things from AJT and have them on new vehicles as an option.
Looks great. I would have to say though, in my opinion, the black trd shift knob (same one you have but black) would look way better with this center console scheme.
Kinda off topic but if you do a cold air intake I would recommend S&B I had that on my tundra and loved the sound I now have that on my Tacoma and it made it sound like it’s got some balls lol I can’t wait to get the Supercharger by Magnuson whenever it’s released.
schutte83 Haha don’t get me started on that... it was a $70-80 option that came with the truck... it should be like $10 hah. I’d imagine you could get a cheaper option online somewhere.
I heard these don’t drive well on the road. That they don’t feel as good. What’s the difference between this TRD and the platinum version of the tundra ?

@@UntamedMotors 10/4 i have the 2020 tundra trd pro, gloss metallic midnight black, im thinking replace mine with the black, and dip the screws gloss red for the cup holder, shifter, and center piece
Looks totally awesome but I’m like you I can’t see myself drilling in a brand new truck lol maybe one day I will get the nerve to try to tackle that job. At Sparks parts they sell a black TRD shifter with red stitching that would look nice to finish off that section.

Untamed Motors I finally tackled the job and I got it done, you were right I had a few minor screw ups though,but it’s hidden underneath,but on top where the red screws are,came out perfect. PS I have a 2020 Toyota tundra in army green also I added some inlays in red/black from tufskinz and it came out very nice 👍🏼. When you said that the job is manageable and that you promised,you built up my confidence and I went for it,so thank you so much or I wouldn’t have attempted it. Thank you 🙏🏼 sir. Not a fan of those red Bolts/screws. Don't really like that design. Would probably have the factory pieces professionally painted to whatever color one prefers if you don't like chrome.
Gear Bangin Yeah going with red screws over black was a bit of a gamble but I’m happy I did. It sets it off imo. I can see why someone wouldn’t like this though.
maz1ng3rz They run deals every so often, I’d just tune into their Instagram and RU-vid channel... honestly I would just shoot them an email or call and ask if they’d hook you up a little, you never know if you don’t try! Like I said, they’re an awesome group of guys so I think they’d work with you a little!
