No video on switch post Pericom IC (PI3USB) replacement could mean that one of the filters that connects to it is blown. It's usually the first one, as I believe that is the only one that is critical for the switch to work via the built in display

There are many, many switch mobos out there in no fix state with charging at 0.41-0.47a, and at the point where console is ready to boot, but it does not. Many speculate the apu itself is actually bad at this point. Would love to see you perhaps sort one of these.

Iam working on a switch right now. All tests indicate that P13USB is bad. I pulled it from the board and the caps still indicate a short. I then pulled m92t36 and the charging port. The caps that indicate P13USB as failed are still showing a fault. Any advice is greatly appreciated 🙏.

Did you go to North Valley Occupational center in Granada Hills to study electronics? I went there back in 1991 and it sure paid off. Now I’m an electronic technician.

The black screen with it taking a charge could be a result of Auto RCM. A modification to the device that requires a payload to be injected to boot. Used for custom firmware, homebrew etc. You can plug it into a pc and run the software called Tegra RCM to check if it is in RCM mode. Customer should know if it's running custom firmware.

Bud you gotta put your family ahead of bullshit. Business will always be there. Not sure if you celebrate Xmas but take a few days off and enjoy your family. Don’t burn yourself out like I did. People love you ekhlaq,,your manners...i learn elecetronics from other channles but thay use very bad languages,,you can,t even see their videos with ur children..you are the great.

Might be worth the other shop to UV mark their boards to see that the originals are coming back or what chips are being taken off, seems to happen a lot in the business, I mark, tattoo just about everything with UV, soldering iron tip and when I put stuff into a garage to be fixed I mark up the bits with some hard to spot paint dots and some grey paint on the bolt heads so I know if they have actually done the work or not and there is a lively business in less scrupulous garages where they will replace nearly new parts on your car for worn out car parts and then tell you it needs fixing then charge you to put on your nearly new parts :(

u brake I fix ruined my note 20 ultra I sent me phone for a screen replacement they fix the screen and Brake my front camera, I contacted managers, corporate, for days and they say we can't do anything about it, I sent the phone to Samsung and Samsung said my mother board needs replacement , kept going back and forth and they say we only could refund you the money for screen replacement $325 ish, now I'm having a phone without a front screen camera, no selfie, I'm gonna try and send it to this man and see if he could fix it .

I rather but the items from you then any questionable place for stupid $10 less. I rather give you the $10 and know that is the real deal not the fake stuff you get half of the time when you order from Ali not to mention the time to get it. Stupid people these days, they are probably the ones messing with the devices and can’t fix them.

Its tested!!!! andddd they don't have to wait 3 months to never to get the product..or a empty box!!! lol.. Example.. it took me over a year to get real 883 chips from china.. every 2-3 months they were clones or it never came.
