When dealing with precious substances, and large amounts of cash, typically dealers rather not show their faces. Sitting in a market in general must yield elevated prices. Keep up the hunt!
I both sell but I also personally collect Jadeite, if you have any pieces to sell, I may be interested in buying them. As you probably know, Jadeite is very difficult to obtain in the United States because of the embargo against Burma, which also includes Rubies and Sapphires. I usually deal with sellers from Thailand or China because it is difficult for Americans to gain access to Burma. My main interest are small pieces, ranging in all colors from green to white, to black and more.
Yanyong, if you think that this kind of practice happen only in Myammar then you should start looking elsewhere. In Africa, in Madagascar, in Vietnam, Russia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka it is the same everywhere. Even in Europe where gemstones are traded daily it is the same.
the gemstone trade is very greedy and crazy.the seller will ask a price 20-30 times more than real price.even you bargain for half .you are still cheated. And in Burmar don t expect to buy any thing for good price.
Please, would you give me some information ? What prices did you find there ? I think you are sincere and a nice person. But I really have clients that buy Burmese jade for big prices. Depending the price, it is still nice to me to buy them.
Yanyong W. That's why I stay away. There's a gem company on here that show videos of mining the stones. Then when you go to the website they have marked up the price fifty times.
@@zoesdada8923 Not only over prize but a lot of them injected with the synthetic or die color that you cannot know, only pay a lot of money for testing with the high sophisticated machine. Jade business is a shonky business always dirty. no honest.
if i want it , how can i take it come back to VietNam , whether they will be confiscated by the airport cuctoms , just small samples . such as bracelets or pendants .
OMG Bare fingers micro millimetres near a high speed cutting blade, no ear protection no eye protection... How many serious injuries occur daily? These are all blood gems
Jade is cut with diamond blades. There are no teeth to hurt you, you can push your finger against the spinning blade and it will only scratch if anything at all. The real danger is the dust which will kill you in a bad way in about 30 years. Ear and eye protection are useless, there is very little sound made and the chance of a jade stone splintering in the saw is next to none. Clamps are used to hold large pieces of jade, the saw cuts them itself without humans. Small pieces are held and are cut very slowly. Perhaps you should not be so fragile minded and judgemental OMG.
There's jade n them their hills! , I'm finding some good color n Ohio, but no imperial r white green yet, but must b here ! I'll make the gems myself and mount in rare metals o ohio, we got gold platinum, and God only knows
