The pleasure of sin is like chewing a piece of gum; it's good at first and then it's gone, and you're left with something to spit out!🙏 ⚓ 📖

I love Skip. I’m in Dallas and my favorite pastor was in England who passed away three years ago and I still haven’t found a non-Calvinistic, non-Schofield church yet.

David and the conesequences of his sins. It made me think Skip, of the old believe of people, that when calamaties touched someone, its was believed that that person had sinned. Not really far from the truth, maybe in many cases exactly the consequence thereoff. If repented, forgiven, but living with the consequence! And the very many we do not even know, when our behavour had touched other lives, far away even. MY GOD, am I thankful that our sins will not enter eternity!!! Thank you Skip, you are a true BLESSING. Every day I listen to you from Italy. Rita❤

Just because a believer is free from the penalty of sin(hell), doesn’t mean they are necessarily gonna be free from the earthly consequences of sin.

Thanks Pastor Skip for those straightforward words of truth. I can relate to David's sin as I'm sure many other men can. For sure there are consequences and the dominoes can fall a thousand different ways. And lest we be too judgemental of David, remember the words of Jesus to those who were about to stone the woman caught in adultery, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." The fact that God afflicted David's son and caused the child to become sick and die seems to be a clear case where the sins of the father were visited upon the children. Nevertheless, David gives a faithful response to the death of the child when he says, "I cannot bring him back, but I shall go to him." These two chapters also point to the authenticity of scripture as it would have been so easy to continue portraying David as the shining perfect example of what a "man after God's own heart" should look like by simply leaving them out of the record. But instead, we see David, like all humans, have a sinful nature and the inward battle of good and evil. God bless.

I just want to say, that I'm not a "Christian"...I do believe in God, but not the way the church peaches about what God is, and until I found you ava your sermons, I hated even listening to the word of God from a Christian belief standpoint. You are an amazing teacher of the word, and you do a great job at giving things to think about and ponder. I believe God and creation is more what The law of one/ the Ra Material teaches, but I live listening to your sermons. I was raised Christian... Southern Baptist!! Church 3 days a week, and nothing I heard from the Christian ideology made any sense to me. With that being said, could you please help me understand why Genesis 1-26, God refers to himself as "Us" and "Our"...."Let us make man ... In our likeness"... It sounds a lot like what you would here Ra speak on if you ever read the law of one. Thank you, and I would really appreciate. And even if you can't find the time to respond or maybe help me understand either way I still appreciate and I love your channel

God made man in his image (God’s likeness) after Adam and Eve ate the fruit, it was no longer God’s image. It became man’s. Because of sin. Therefore, man created man in man’s likeness and the rest is history. Which is why Jesus was sent to save us. A Christian is not a religion. A Christian is relationship with Christ. Saying you are not a “Christian” but believe in God is why you were taught by false doctrine. Being a non Christian and believe in God at the same time does not work that way. That’s new age ideology. In order to be saved and believe in him, you would have to be born again Christian and accepting Jesus in your heart is salvation. I would encourage you to join Bible study group to best understand your walk and the scriptures and what Christianity really means. There are a lot of online tutorials and resources you can find to help you navigate. I hope this helps. Yes, Skip is awesome and explains scriptures so eloquently well. That helps me understand my Bible better and growth in my Christian faith. God bless! 🙏🏻

This particular citation also demonstrates the trinity doctrine of Christianity, which means God is three distinct persons who have equal authority. (Note if you ever notice there is a distinction between the Lord and the LORD and how they show up throughout scripture). The concept of theology --- though never used in the scripture -- is reiterated in Isaiah 9:6 (a child was born but a Son who'd always existed as God is given); John 1:1 declares in the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God. See also Revelation 22:16, 1 Timothy 3:16; Psalm 110: 1. God bless you for He is faithful to keep His Word to answer anyone who is seeking after Him.

@@accesstotheredcarpet Yes, it is possible. I was raised a Christian. I said I don't believe in God the way you as a "Christian" believe in God. I don't believe in a heaven or a hell. I don't believe "god" sent his "son" to be murdered for us. You obviously didn't read my question and you didn't even try and answer it. Instead, you tried to preach that my "ideology" is wrong and your is right. Thank you for your time and Namaste.

@@katrinamiles9675 ok, but the scriptures you quoted only regret to "God" as one, in the singular. It even said with him. And those scriptures are written from a third person. Genius 1-26 is one of the few that written from a first person standpoint if God's view and the words Us and Our were used. And I understand the holy Trinity, but that's never referred to with us or our. And it never says that God made man in the image of the father, the son, and holy spirit. The scripture states that man was created in God's image. And you can't say, "yeah, God's image being the holy Trinity," because of that werev true and we were made in that image, there we would also be a holy Trinity
@tempstep4058

This is not the trinity. I believe in the trinity, but this is not the trinity. "Us" and "our" in this case, the answer depends on the word "Elohim." The term is used to refer to those who are in the spiritual realm - those we can not see. God, angels, the disembodied dead humans... In this case, it's all of the above without the dead humans because they're not even created yet. Yahweh, the God of the Bible, is an elohim, but not all elohim are Yahweh. He's the most high and most unique, but He's talking to His enterouge in heaven, and that's where you get the plural. The Book of Job confirms that when God told Job how "the sons of God" rejoiced when God created the earth. Trinity explanation means God is talking to Himself, but that's weird because The Father knows what the Son, who is the Father Himself, is thinking and the Holly Spirit is in that mix. One God, so there is no need to converse with Himself. It was the angels, "the sons of God" that God was talking to. God uses the plural in Isaiah 6 also. "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" God asked and Isaiah said "Here am I; send me." Now in that vision, if you read the whole chapter, there is more than just God in the room with the prophet. You can clearly see that the Lord is including his entourage when He speaks. He's saying who will go on our behalf and speak in the material world our word, our message. Study the word "Elohim" in the Bible. That's where your answers lies.
