To be sure you did not get an end of quarter special $4,500 off. As you said yours is a performance sleeper model. A lot of people specifically asked for this model. Don't know Tesla still makes them or not. Good deal yes and congrats, but no need to wait till the end of the quarter.

Yeah. I kinda realized that now. but 2-year free supercharging was still nice.

@@FlameMing I thought it was 2K miles free supercharging. Regardless it was a good bonus for the end of quarter push. On the other hand from my observation there is no significant benefit waiting for end of quarter to buy a Tesla. It tends to create a logistical nightmare for Tesla that is still experiencing growing pain. I do like your idea of talking to the local sales associates. Sometimes they have special inventory items that have incentives more than online ordering can get. Just want people to know there is no bad time to buy a Tesla.

I want a performance M3, but ordered Long range Dual motor for the same reasons you mentioned. Didn't know Tesla makes other versions different from the three versions available for online order!? Good for you .... congratulations!

Thanks! Yeah. I didn't know either until I reached out to a sales rep. There are so many other variations out there.

They were giving the 19" upgrade for free at the end of the quarter along with the free SC. You are already out $1500...

If you are talking about this electrek.co/2019/09/13/tesla-discounts-free-supercharging-end-of-the-quarter-push/,...... I literally printed it out and brought this article to the sales manager before the end of the quarter, and she said the free upgrade is for limited people ordered for the first 2 weeks of Sept. 2-year free supercharging is for people ordering at end of September. The 2 items cannot be combined.
