I feel for story #1 guy, his story has elements of my own. I married an amazing woman from Brazil and our first two years were paradise. Then the mood swings started and she became a completely different woman. To cut to the chase, I later learned after a painful year that she had a mental illness and wasn’t going to get better by herself. Although I can’t know with certainty, my guess is this is what Tuk is dealing with. Once my wife got correctly diagnosed and on effective medication, she returned to being herself, but the process took time and meant several hospitalizations. But she is and was worth fighting for. If you're reading this, please consider: 1. See if you can get her to voluntarily see a psychiatrist (even if you need to threaten her with involuntary care) and start getting on a medication that will help her. 2. She will probably refuse if she has been untreated for a long time, so find out what the police need to see in order to force her to be hospitalized (here they need to see proof that she may harm herself or others). 3. Find the best facility you can and work to get her taken there. The idea is unnerving, especially with films like one flew over the cuckoo’s nest out there, and though I never found a place nearly as bad as what’s depicted in that film, it’s important to make sure she’s going to a quality place where she’ll be safe and get good care. 4. Give her a deadline to get care voluntarily and if she doesn’t meet it, call the police. I wish I could guarantee this would be a quick fix or even that it would fix things at all, but from the way you described Tuk at the beginning it seems to me she’d be worth fighting for. Because I got an earlier start, I never lost sight of the wonderful woman I’d married, I know it’s been a longer time for you. Best wishes to you and your family.

The second story is exactly how I feel about Pattaya. I've been in Thailand for 7months now, visited Pattaya 3 times and each time I went there, I was totally disappointed by the quality of the women, on top of that, everything is expensive (beer, service, etc), it looks like trash and it's not really fun outside of visiting the islands. From what I understand, all the hot babe now works in Gentleman's club (im not talking about gogo, look it up if you dont know what im talking about) or high-end soapy message parlor here in BKK (both cater to wealthy Asian men).

I remember my first week in Thailand in Koh Samui back in 1987. I was staying in a bungalow on Chaweng beach which back then had no nightlife at all, just the restaurants on the beach which closed at about 11pm. It was very quiet If you wanted to go out you headed for Lamai beach where there was one disco/club. I remember a young German guy turned up at breakfast one morning with a Thai girl who he'd brought back from Lamai the night before. She was an obvious hooker and after breakfast he took her back to Lamai on his scooter. An hour later he returned and we were all still sitting around in the restaurant. He sat down at a table and said "I like this girl, she's different from the rest." The whole restaurant instantly fell about laughing, repeating the phrase "Different from the rest!" 🤣🤣🤣

The man in the first story is a good father I wish him the best. If he is lucky the girl would agree to go back to Thailand on her own.

I would say the last story was really enjoyable. And he was absolutely truth... Where are all the "stunners"? I'm also disappointed.... I've been there every year through the pandemic and it's been so quiet.... But know they should be back.....?

5 UK time is noon for me here in Toronto. Peter, I hope you keep reading. I just get hooked on these stories. I know half is true they have to be based on some reality. Some are 100% true some aren't at all just exaggerations. Peter, have you ever thought about doing a little extra ... Nothing bad is just that I think your voice would cut it cause as I watch I mean listen to the stories I lay back close my eyes and try to picture myself being there looking in and just listening what is going on. What I mean is that you could narrate audiobooks that are quite popular nowadays. I'm not sure what book but I like it as you read the stories out loud. I think you should look into it and do it in your spare time. TBH. I don't really care about your pink wall behind you. I was listening to what you read that's all. Wall or not pink or black or purple who cares. What I like about you is that you real straightforward no BS and the stories I just can't have enough. So thank you, Peter! 🤔👍🤝📖📚

Your first story illustrates something that court systems refuse to acknowledge; that a man’s love and willingness to sacrifice for his family is greater than a woman’s. How many women would remain the sole breadwinner, supporting a verbal and physical abusive husband that gambles away the money she earns? A friend told me when he and his first wife divorced, that all of his friends were asking and hoping if there was anything he could do to hold the marriage together, while his wife’s friends were telling her she was so brave and doing the right thing.

I've never mongered and happily married here,,, but he is right, the standard and attitude of the ladies we've seen when having a break is poor. I can fully relate to the Phuket story.I stayed in Patong for June and July 22 and boy was it a different place to my last visit in 2019.As he said Bangla was full of much older ladies and the occasional young hot chick.Beach road was a waste of time.All the decent massage places had either shut down or were being run by ladies in the 45-60 age range and indeed the prices were way higher than any previous visit,even a restaurant on second road changed their prices which were 89 baht for anything to a minimum of 120 after I left a good google review for the price and quality.Going to Jomtien for my winter holiday was easily a better decision than going back to Phuket.

Peter, the second story in which the gentleman compared Thailand 2007 to Thailand 2022 prompted me to search in Wikipedia, “demographics of Thailand”. The chart will astound you. It shows that Thailand’s population is aging with less and less young people each year!

I am sorry, but only that person is free, that is in control of theirselves and gamblers are not !!! Do not support a girl, that has been kicked out by her family !!! That really happens and only after been given so many chances.

Regarding the first story and captain save a HO-pless bar girl. The thing about Addicts is they are incredible liars and this girl has proven to be exactly that. With that said this poor guy for his own peace of mind should definitely get a DNA test, the odds are the kid is not his. Even if the child is not biologically his? He is legally the father. Child and father would be a lot better off without a lying, gambling, bar girl in their l lives.

The second story, I agree the quality of the girls is not what it was, but it is coming back. But to compare prices from other decades? No, I don't think that is fair at all.

Not sure why but I've always prided myself at never worn protection. NEVER, even when I was a teenager. Few unknown children, one abortion and two marriages. The thought of wearing protection is just vile to me. But I find myself finally heading to Thailand in March and I'm not sure if I can perform if I have to wear protection. I'm fixed so I can't impregnate a woman and since my life expencity is less than five years am not worried about catching anything. Can I find women who don't insist on protection?

That guy in the first story is lucky there was another situation similar in a Philippines where a rich man from Hong Kong went to marry a girl out the bar and they lived well for years about 10 years or 15 years but he got tired of her and he found her cheating on him and he threatened to divorce her all I got to say he shouldn't have threatened because she got her boyfriend to kill him and made international news it's a documentary about it on RU-vid in case you want to see it she's crazy man I would have taken the girl and dipped I wouldn't even tell her that I was going to leave her ass I would have just disappeared cuz you don't know what these people will do
