📝The ingredients:
Chocolate buttercream with cocoa powder
• Plain buttercream (links below) 453g | 16oz | 1 LB
• Cocoa powder 45g | 1.6oz
• Heavy cream 90g | 3.2oz
• Salt A few pinches
• (Optional: Vanilla, expresso powder, etc.)
The ratio:
Buttercream : Cocoa powder : Heavy cream = 1 : 1/10 : 1/5
Chocolate buttercream with melted chocolate
• Plain buttercream (links below) 453g | 16oz | 1 LB
• Chocolate (Melted, I used 60%) 226g | 8oz
• Heavy cream 56g | 2oz
• Salt A few pinches
• (Optional: Vanilla, expresso powder, etc.)
The ratio:
Buttercream : Melted chocolate : Heavy cream = 1 : 1/2 : 1/8

How can I stop getting the American butter cream getting gritty ?? Please give me a solution especially Chocolate american butter cream??

Both of the Chocolate American buttercream feels less gritty but especially the melted chocolate one feels a bit smoother. American buttercream feels gritty because sugar is not cooked unlike the other buttercream. We could cook the sugar as the solution. Heat heavy cream/milk and sugar together and let it cook before adding it. You definitely need to adjust the amount of them in order to do it though. It’s almost like condensed milk buttercream. - Condensed milk is made by heating sugar and milk. Hope that helps!!!

I'm sorry it happened! Usually, buttercream separates when temperature gaps occur. Is there any chance the butterceam was cold? If so, use soft buttercream. Also, if the Swiss buttercream was just made, wait until it cools down completely before use or before adding the cocoa powder and heavy cream. I hope it helps!!!
