Yes! Very nice review. I just bought this car… It’s compact yet spacious, it’s tech laden, and the build quality is chef’s kiss. I do feel though that it needs a more robust hybrid system if it’s going to tote a 4 cylinder, but so far it’s nicer than the 5 series and A6 all around.
I bought the E350 2024 5 weeks ago. It is everything he has said in the review…Only thing for safety reason is a volume control knob for the radio…Touch screen takes your eyes off the road too often, when a song comes on louder than usual…can put you in a dangerous 4 or 5 seconds of your eyes off the road..Paul Dopp 13:26
For me, I wish the door handle part on the inside with the window switch matched the centre console trim. The centre trim is wood. The door handle part is in silver. Then the top half with the seat adjustments is glossy black. It's a bit mish mashy and doesn't match or look cohesive when looking at it as a unit. In isolation it's fine but when all together it clashes too much.
i think the reason in north american isnot getting a plug in hybrid is they want to try to sell more EV in north american. I want the E400e or the E53. The E53 is coming to north american and its a plug in hybrid. Thanks Cevin
I wish them well with that. The EQS options are overpriced to the point, Mercedes dealerships have lodged complaints with the manufacturer, that they're sitting on lots and costing them tons of money in floor plan overhead.
I’ve seen multiple E350s at local dealerships for 80k or more when there’s 540s for 75k right down the road. I think Mercedes has kind of lost their mind with their pricing.
The new Mercedes just don’t look different from other cars anymore. These look like they can be kia or Lexus. The S class is on the right path. Still gonna keep my w211 until I see something that looks like a generational difference. I love the new features inside the car but the exterior is just not it
Because it’s not selling. I’m from SEA and EV’s won’t work here for now because our electric grid is horrendous and it’s too expensive to save money on petrol.
Mercedes has gone down hill SIGNIFICANTLY. People buying Mercedes are mostly people over the age of 65, and want a LUXURY car. Mercedes has crappy build quality, high pricing, and tons of screens which just distract and collect finger prints. Old people don’t want to bother with any of that! Stick to BMW, Audi, or Porsche. All of those brands have good build quality and other than Porsche don’t over charge you for it. Would totally buy a W123 Benz, but wouldn’t buy a new Mercedes EVER
Well that’s your opinion where I live in the uk I very rarely see old people driving them! They have the same status as bmw Audi Volkswagen ect loads of people in 20,s and 30,s driving them
In europe younger people buying them to inc me.. they did good last years for giving even the e class a sporty look.. in 2006 only older people bought them now with the cla’s and a’s they have a lot of younger audience
I’m 29, female, living in Tennessee and I ordered a custom E class with the super screen a month ago. I’ll just keep a little bottle of screen cleaner and a microfiber cloth in the car 🤷🏻♀️ that’s what my husband does for his 2023 GMC truck. It has a big screen and we love it 🥰
I just discovered the Downshift channel a few days ago. By now I've watched several of your reviews and want to say that the commentary that Matt provides is SUPER relatable and right on target with what I want to know as I shop for a new car to replace my Audi A6 Quattro. Thank you. Side note: I've also been casually searching for a new hoodie without words on it but with SOME sort of design element on it. Then I discovered the Downshift store and wouldn't-you-know, you have precisely what I'm looking for. Again, THANK you. You guys are killing it!
