Just a question, very tempted to order them as well but are the unifying receivers compatible with the mouse and keyboard? My work has multiple desktop PC per workstation so i need to know if the receiver of the mouse is also compatible with the keyboard and vice versa.

@@obsprisma ok the next question is can both of them work on 2 or 3 unifying USB receivers? So one desktop has one and another desktop with another receiver.

@@CC-pt3di I haven't tried that but most todays desktop computers are able to connect through bluetooth, so that is also a way to connect with another desktop, but i have a good guess it also work on another unified reciever because if it is paired with whatever unified reciever it must work where ever the reciever is put into.

Could you please clarify? You mean that is possible to use the 2 unifying receivers on two different devices an set both mouse and keyboard to switch between them with switching button? The multi-devices capability is not working only in bluetooth mode? Thanks

@@Dare_To_Imagine that’s correct. M720 and K780 each comes with a receiver. You can even use three unifying receivers, one for each device. Just pair them in the Logitech options plus software. The experience is a lot smoother than BT.

Mouse is Bluetooth, so you can do it that way, or you can connect it to a USB port on an adapter through the USB-C port

They don't both change between devices together, but the switches are very accessible, so it is easy to switch manually on both. I'm not sure if you would be able to set up automatic switching using the Logitech software or not... I think that is a feature for some of their advanced stuff.

I just got this keyboard and you can press num lock to change the keypad to arrows and home, end, pgdn, pgup etc Would take some getting used to for sure (Commented in case anyone else is having the same thoughts)

@@ThisIsSOSO Last month I found a great solution from Microsoft. I got the compact designer Bluetooth keyboard and Bluetooth 10-key. They’re significantly thinner and lighter than the Logitech and they both support three devices via Bluetooth.

Thanks Raymond, I'm glad you liked it. Based on the fact that my heavier and wider iPad doesn't tilt the keyboard, I think you may be able to get away with using your Wacom interface in the slot, provided it is in the landscape orientation. However, the slot is only 11mm wide, so I'm not 100% sure whether it will fit or interfere. You should also consider that you wont be able to adjust its tilt angle, which may or may not be an issue for you. Good luck!

That’s unfortunate. I can guarantee you that it was 2 years when I filmed this. In fact I still use that keyboard and my partner uses the mouse. They still look good… I recently made a video about my MX Master 3 as well after a good amount of time and it still looks great too… I wonder if it’s an environmental thing (like more humidity, etc. impacting the paint). I wouldn’t say I’m rough on them, but I’m not gentle with my use either. Strange.

Yes, I have two desks that I work from and I still use these at one of them. Still recommend them. That mouse gives off an audible click when you press buttons.

No, once a device (computer, tablet, phone, etc) is configured to one of the 3 memory places, it is set there, so when you switch it just takes a second to connect.

It allows you to move the mouse cursor from one screen to another, without pressing buttons. 1º Question: Is laggy ? I've use programs that do the same and they were not great. The pointer would freeze for an instant before moving, wich is fairly anoying. 2ª Question: Does switching the mouse pointer from one device to another, using Flow, also switches the keyboard to the same device ? Sorry to bother you with all these questions, and thank you for your reply.

@NailujAgelliv good questions - but regrettably I don’t have a lot of experience with FLOW. I never really had a big use for it, and my current setup doesn’t have two computers linked to the same monitor anymore, so it’s been a few years since I tried it, so I’m not sure I could provide you with a fair opinion. Sorry.

Yes that should work. The switching is quick. I haven't measured it, but I typically I don't really notice much of a delay... maybe 2s on the high end, but that would be uncommon.

You have to switch the mouse and keyboard separately, but the switch happens nearly immediately. I've never really noticed a lag while switching.

That's very strange. I've never experienced that. Perhaps try to do a hard reset of the keyboard. You'd have to look up how, but I suspect you'll have to take the batteries out for a little while.

You shouldn't need any additional software unless you want to use Logitech's software to customize some of the gesture features for the devices. Both are Bluetooth and Receiver compatible, but you will have to switch both devices manually. It is quick to switch on both though because they have dedicated buttons that are easy to access. I meant I can find a solution by using Synergy or similar, but in my understanding the master pc should always be active, and I don't want that. So my question was about the hardware, basically if there's any bundle out there that allow both mouse + keyboard to switch just pressing one button. But your reply is no, this bundle doesn't allow that. Are you aware of any other option? Asking this since I'll have to swap commands very often.

The main issue would be that larger iPads don't fit in the tray in portrait mode without tipping... At least that was an issue when the bezzels used to be larger. I haven't tried one of the new smaller bezzel ones.

Well, it's going to feel closer to a laptop keyboard because it is a chicklet keyboard, but even within chicklet keyboards there is a lot of variety of feel, as there is with mechanical. Personally, I like it. I've been using this as my go-to keyboard for close to three years now I think, and I still really like it.

I haven't tried gaming, but if you check out the comment stream below, one of the other users described their experience gaming on one.

Yes, I use them with my S10 for Dex without issue.

I can't say my experience has been the same... I think I get about a year usually. I just swapped out our for the MX master 3 for Mac

You can use Bluetooth on your phone and either Bluetooth or a dongle on your computer.

You can assign one of the 3 Bluetooth connections to be your phone. Then you just have to switch to that connection in order to use it. So if you had your computer connected to channel 1 and phone to channel 2, you would just have to hit the 2 button on the keyboard and toggle to the second channel on the mouse as well in order to switch devices.

I still have that mouse too :D King of mice. The rubbery coating on mine was degrading though and making the texture feel kind of sticky, so coupled with the annoyance of that USB charging cradle, I swapped it out for a M705 last year. Except now we're getting proper cursor support on the iPad, I really want a mouse I can use with both my Mac laptop and my iPad, and the Marathon mouse is annoyingly USB receiver only... I'm hoping the Triathlon M750 will work as a replacement. Annoyingly my keyboard at work is the same deal, the K750, which I really like (though I wish it was a bit narrower with the numpad more integrated). I'm not sure how I feel about the circular keys of the K780 here, but thinking it's probably worth a try. I had my eye on the MX Keys, but it's out of stock everywhere, also quite long like the K750, and possibly worst of all has a fixed tilt at the back, when for proper ergonomics it should tilt down towards the back, damnit! Finding the right peripherals is so tricky.

@@EmmaVB82 Just use a small amount of white spirit and paper and very gently rub it until it is smooth and *slightly* sticky. Then let it dry out. Worked a treat on my heavily used m705 that I now have for years. Also worked on my (early) Logitech Harmony remote control that was sticky all over after having been left behind in a moist storage area.

Just will keep my receipt BestBuy staff told me that If there is an issue I can return it. :-) I did notice that I cannot get the logi M720 Mouse to respond with my iPad but it does connect with my Samsung phone.

@@crystalhaynes4303 hmmm..... Hopefully it's a software issue with iOS then. My only other troubleshooting suggestion would be to try synchronizing it with some other Mac and PC'S to make sure it works with them. If so, it is probably just an iOS issue rather than the mouse.

Fair... Ya, that's something I didn't think of until after the fact. I know it's not the se, but I'd say it is a quieter keyboard. The key-click is more tactile than audible, so I would be comfortable recommending it for offices or dorm rooms, where you have someone working nearby. Thanks for watching and for the suggestion ✌️👍

The M720 isn't perfectly symmetric, so I wouldn't recommend it unless you are used to using right-handed mice.

@@JakeReevesVideoI just got the keyboard today, I have had the mouse a few months after it came to market. the mouse is effective even on bedsheets in FPS games, though it's not suited to heavy use in gaming it can still get a passable job done. the keyboard I used today for 5 hours in dead cells with ONLY keyboard controls. the setup was my fault, but the execution got me to the final boss (dead but then again that's what I expected with ONLY keyboard use with weird right-hand controls) so for gaming from bed, I can attribute both as an effective gaming use, whilst having multi-functionality for most business models and productivity streamline.
