We wrapped up the Winter LO206 series at PGP Motorsports park. Mother nature was kind to us and kept the track dry for practice, qualifying, both heats and the final!
Austin only ran a couple of laps in qualifying and landed himself the number 11 spot out of 34 racers. Heat one, he worked his way from 11th to 6th, with no incidents. Heat 2, we got the GoPro strapped on, and off he went. He dropped a spot in the start and then made two clean passes to finish heat 2 in 5th. Going into the final, he was surrounded by some great racers! The top four broke away and battled through the entire race. Austin was a lone racer most of the laps with little excitement to report.
Randy had a great race as well with his best placement of the season at #6.
Sundays race wrapped up the LO206 season at PGP. Austin was able to hang onto the 3rd place podium spot for the series, with Kieran Rogers taking 2nd, and Lindsay High taking 1st. Congrats to all the racers.
