Salute to you sir they way you explained is excellent, sir i have one question ❓ on 8:08 second you said that the cyclic time increament should much enough to capture actual history, now how we can decide a suitable time increament for different systems?
Hi Dr Elkadi. Excuse me Do You have any experiences about dynamic(Cyclic)analysis(Implicit) in models with bolt like this tutorial ? I need your help please
You need to follow the steps described in this tutorial. The only difference is that you will need to assign a cyclic amplitude to the target displacement.
Cyclic here refers to the loading not the material response. For defining fatigue in the material, subroutines can be used or post-processing of the cyclic results.
@@mweetwamulongo1425 There is no video for this speciic case. You can follow the procedure described in the video above as well as this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YH5zQadyFmU.html to define an amplitude with whichever loading rate (velocity) you want.
Sir I'm doing CFST column steel beam joint connected with bolted connection subjected to cyclic loading at beam end After running I'm not getting strength degradation portion in the result In property module, I have given elastic and plastic property with combined hardening Still I'm not getting strain softening region Please help.
If the concrete is confined, then may be you will not experience strain softening. Strength degradation may occur if the beam, connection, or the column tube get deformed first.
