20 Celebs That Are Really Big Jerks.
You know what they say: never meet your idol in person. Well, in some cases, that advice holds true. Some of them aren’t so nice in person. In fact, they’ve gained a reputation for being some of the meanest people you could meet, despite their on-screen persona being much, much different. We’ve made a list of 20 people who are incredibly loved but are actually huge jerks behind the camera. If you happen to come across these individuals, it's generally a good idea to keep walking and resist the urge to ask for their autographs. You never know how they might react - some may simply ignore you, while others might respond with offensive language.

I keep hearing stories about Keanu how humble and generous he is to ppl who have less around him. That's generally a great sign you are dealing with a genuine kind-hearted person. He sets an example too many in Hollywood can only hope to be.

@@andreah6379 Stories are stories, I've worked with many celebrities, Keanu was one of them i worked with him on Matrix reloaded , he was the talent , i was Medical Crew. I can confirm for you - Everyone onset liked him - we all come in in the morning around 5am or so , you waddle in half asleep with coffee in hand , you pick up your callsheet, at the door, get your radio from the security guard then head to the catering tent for breakfast, say hi to everyone, after that everyone has their routine, talent usually go to the green room or make up for a few hours Keanu was a top bloke, he'd always talk to everyone, it's not uncommon with some talent to .. avoid CREW and just talk to other talent. some talent beleive it beneath them to speak to crew. and if they need to they go through the Exec producers if they have a problem with crew. Keanu wasn't like that, Nor was Lawrence or Carrie a few months into fliming keanu, close to after work, comes up to me and we start talking about places in sydney to visit He mentions this club he's heard of (at the time i never been there but a friend mentioned it to me a week earlier, it was new to us at the time, this was before the cross city tunnel came through ) it's closed now, but it was HUGO's at the cross Anyway, Keanu says he wants to go there, I said, my mate told me about it he says, ok, if he knows where it is , let's check it out. we did. Honestly, with all the celebrities i've worked with , None have ever said let's go for a dinner together or whatever... i mean, there are lunches, there are coffee's sure but that's part of work but not outside of work so, we went to Hugo's have this fucking massive Nacho's bowl that serves 4 it was cool, Lawrence came along , Carrie wasn't there so yeah, he's a cool bloke, he's nice, everyone onset likes him and that's basically all you need to know about Keanu If you ever meet him don't be afraid to approach him he won't bite your head off. if he's busy, he'll tell you politely , but he's a good guy, i can confirm that much for you and confirm that it isn't just a story basically anyone in the film industry can confirm that for you. Other nice one's Elle Macpherson Christina (she was nice to me) Brian Brown Jacko (Energizer commercials) Tom Williams is a good bloke Nicole Kidman that's all that comes to mind right now but.. Most are ok , a few select have a pole up their arse generally speaking, if you walk up politely and say "sorry to bother you, would it be ok if got a photo and Autograph" Most won't be rude and will just give you a yes or no

Jackson Browne's father (Jack) had Alzheimer's disease, and my grandmother was his private nurse (now called caregiver) and I used to help her with him. He was sweet as can be. I met David Bowie in about 1998 on a film set on the Isle of Man. He was having dinner at the time in a dining bus thing, and I gave my vinyl of 'Space Oddity' to a runner, and asked if he could give it David to sign for me when he'd finished his lunch, as I didn't mind waiting. I could see the runner give it to him through the window of the bus, and David immediately came out, in the middle of his dinner, to ask my name and sign it for him. He had a massive smile beaming across his face, and shook my hand firmly. I guess he was either just a really great guy, as people say.. or he was thrilled to bits to see an actual original pressing of his first single.. or both! In any case, he was a gentleman, and will be sorely missed by millions.

I knew a lieutenant in the army back in the 80s. She told me back in the 70s when The Brady Bunch was going on, she went to an exclusive restaurant with her parents. She saw Florence Henderson at another table with her husband. She asked her mother if she could go and talk with her. The mother said, "Yes, but wait until after they finish eating and had dessert." When Henderson finished her dinner and dessert the mother got up and brought her daughter to meet Henderson. Henderson saw them approaching and quickly realized the situation. She opened up her arm and hugged a 7 year old girl. Henderson talked with the child. Gave her a personally autographed picture with the child's name. Her father asked if they could take a picture and Henderson agreed. The mother thanked Henderson profusely for doing what she did for the child. The lieutenant showed me the picture of her and Henderson. I got in touch her through face book and she told she mourned for a week when she found out Henderson passed on.

I can only imagine that celebrities are continually approached and lose a lot of privacy. I think people forget that they are really no different from non-celebrities. I know personally with me I don't mind being approached by people I don't know, though if I was approached day after day and couldn't just enjoy doing things without being asked for my autograph or to have a picture taken with me or some other starry eyed thing, I would become impatient. When we get impatient we often become sharp with our words, or if we don't want to say the wrong thing -- we just walk away. I think we should remember they are humans with the same fatalities and struggles, rather than get starry eyed over them and approach them we should give them their space.

Back in the 80's I worked as a stage tech at a large venue that used to get some of the biggest musical acts of the day in for concerts. I was around and met several celebrities. The worst were Steven Tyler and David Lee Roth. Rude and extremely arrogant. Even their roadies didn't have anything decent to say about them. The nicest one's were Stevie Ray Vaughn (polite, gracious, and kind) and the entire Def Leppard band. We'd be tearing the stage down and coiling cables and they'd be walking around BS-ing with everyone and actually helping. Really nice personable dudes. No arrogance at all. When we were loading their gear up into semis, Joe Elliot came out and stood there talking about a bunch of stuff with us for a good 20 minutes before heading to their tour bus. He acted like a down to earth regular guy. One guy asked him, kidding around, why he wasn't still in the building with some of the groupies we saw in there. He said he had a serious girlfriend and didn't want to blow it with her, so he was avoiding them. What a great guy.

A good celebrity lets their press agent (or someone close to them) be the bad guy and say no. The celeb should never be in a position where they have to be the bad guy, let agents do that - they are often pretty mean anyway. Kirsty Alley was a beyotch, and people who leave Scientology are supposed to be shunned and become persona non grata if they leave the cult, including lifelong friends and family members. Really sick and cruel. Jehovah Witnesses do that too. That's a sign of a dangerous cult.

@@glenw-xm5zf Acting up a bit would be natural. However, he was *never* violent towards people. Even when AH was egging him (after he found out his agent or someone had stolen millions from him) on he only took it out on the kitchen cabinets; he never ever laid a hand on her. Instead it was AH who was the raging psychopath guzzling booze and lopping off his finger with a bottle. Also, we can't just bring up stuff from ages ago and villify them forever for it imo. Like a lot of Hollywood actors were on drugs; but got clean since. Should we use that to smear them indefinitely? Heck, I was addicted to painkillers too because of intestinal cramps. Imagine what stress some of those actors might be going through on a daily basis with paperazzi lurking in every bush. So I have an issue with this video including JD when he is one of the kindest people out there. It was AH who brought out the worst in him; and that financial person who he trusted but stole millions from him. But even then he never laid a hand on her to the paint where she had to fake it with makeup. Sorry if this sounds like a rant. It's nothing personal towards you or anything. I just dislike it when people smear others over an isolated incident. There are a lot of actors out there who are abusive 24/7, but JD is definitely not one of them. 🙂

Once with same friend I saw Annette Benig while we were outside eating at a restaurant in Union Square..We called out to her that we loved her acting ..She gave us a big smile and waved....Another time with same friend we saw Donald Sutherland walking by in the Theater district in NYC -we were in a cab rolled down the window ..Saying how much we loved his acting..He gave us a huge smile and waved back!!! Oh and I was a professional dancer when young and was coming down some stairs out of a rehearsal at a studio on 58th street and Broadway..--Shirely MacLaine was with a few people coming into the building -we looked a each other...I did not feel a warm vibe from her and said nothing. Also, in passing meet Bill Murrey --very nice real man..Saw Sam Shepherd on a stairway and just nodded to him..i could sense he was a very private person...William Patton meet briefly..very regular good human being....Saw Debra Winger and she seemed a private person-not necessarily friendly..but not sure..Oh when very young met Pamela Travers--she was a very real presence. Also studied just a few years back with Barbara Spiegel she was an amazing human being in every way..not a star but a sincere actress. In the dancing world I was around some very fine principle dancers..The one who was the most serious and yet gave me a huge smile was Rudolf Nureyev.... Margot Fonteyn signed a book for me..she was gracious- not necessarily warm. Karen Kain with National ballet of Canada was very kind!!. Oh met Cynthia Greogory was also very kind ..Goodness I hope this is fun for some to read!! We are all human after all!....
