I was born in 1964, I remember some of those drinks. Yoo-hoo, was like watered-down chocolate milk. Nasty!

they still make some of these I.E. Fresca Yoo Hoo etc. when I was in middle school we had a Yoo Hoo machine in the hallway outside the cafeteria a 16 Oz bottle cost a dollar

I loved Tahitian Treat! We need more caffeine-free sodas. Rondo was delicious too. Always loved Root Beer and Sasparilla - anything with that sassafrass flavor. You used to be able to get Hire's concentrate so you could make your own - it was good. Fresca used to be the only diet soda I liked. Now I just stick to seltzers. With the increasing popularity of Boba, I bet Orbeez would be real popular now. I think I remember Fizzies - mostly getting into trouble for eating the tablets lol. We need more non-cola flavor soda options! IDK when Faygo came on the market, but they had so many flavors - I swear they even had chocolate - and a lot of diet flavors.

First video I watched on your channel, great. It was food we miss from the 70s. I thought; how is this channel not one of the biggest on youtube? Well. it's because your titles are more like clickbait, and your included subject material not historically accurate. You do stick to the theme of the title, but, c'mon, 'Beverages from the 60s' and you're including ones from the 70s and 80s. You're blowing it, you could be huge. Everyone is longing for these times and consuming all we can get our hands on.

i loved Tahitian Treat! i remember one time picking a bottle out of the cooler, walking up to the counter and the thing exploded in my hand!!! i think the fruit juice fermented in the bottle!

That colorful character hawking Yoo-Hoo cola was none other than Yogi Berra who had a financial interest in the company. Hires was a very good root beer but there was a lot of competition from Dad's, A &W, IBC, and the new ones as mentioned. I prefer IBC. I miss Fresca and drank a lot of it in high school. The one lemon soda that I loved though was an English import Schweppes Bitter Lemon. It would pucker your lips but it was so different and refreshing that I was surprised that it didn't last in the States.
