20 Fast Food Restaurant Menus From The 1970s vs Today! 

I remember when McDonalds first started making breakfast, it was AMAZING. And even into the 80’s, it was real food ingredients:real eggs, real buttermilk biscuits (made from scratch), it was SO GOOD…it’s just sad how horrible fast food is now. It really is killing people’s health 😢

I'm so addicted to these videos! It's nice to just watch these after a long day and reminisce.

Oh this hurts my soul and my pocketbook. I miss the old days when fast food wasn't by default overpriced garbage.

I enjoyed visiting most of these establishments with my girlfriend, then my wife! After a few years it was with our children. But then time eroded some of these fine eateries. Now it's just a look back at what once was. Time is a bitch!!!

I have eaten at all of these fast food restaurants at one time or another over the years but these days it is usually a Sonic Drive In or Taco Bell Thanks for the Memories.🇺🇲📺🇺🇲

Ok .. speaking from someone who lived in the 70’s most of this stuff is from the 80’s. Wendy’s only had a single, double and a triple and Frosty’s and I could go on 😂

Not from the 70s/80s....but many of these brought me back to leaving high school in the late 90s and eating the things our parents didn't agree with....but mannnn was it a fun trip with 8 of us in an SUV and feeling all grown up buying our own food 😅🤣😂

The McPizza lineage traces back to the 1980s, when it started as a whole pie that was served at your table on a pizza rack. The product became a personal-sized pizza in 1991 and lingered on the menu at hundreds of the chain's U.S. stores until nearly 2000, but it never really caught on.

It didn't cost so much to give yourself a heart attack back then. No cell phones either. And no 911 either.

Talk about a difference between back then, and now, when I worked at Hardees, we were trained to be meticulous in the preparation of "ALL" of the products on the menu. From the sandwiches, to the breakfast biscuits, to the salads, fries, and desserts, we put in the effort to give each customer a product that not only was tasty, but was put together neatly. There was none of this "JUST SLAP IT TOGTHER", and hand it to the customer, and let them deal with the mess. We maintained a high level of service, and cleanliness. The same was applied at KFC when I worked for them. Nowadays, it's obvious that no one cares enough about the customer anymore by just the mere attitude that you get.

I loved the Arby's Super, I would add bacon and their Atby Q was sooooo good , they so need to bring it back

The Bellbeefer was my favorite at Taco Bell but it never came with lettuce or onion, just the bun and meat. Taco Bell and McDonald's were the only fast foods in my area until Burger King and Wendy's showed up in the late 80s. Sonic just opened a few years ago.

Sadness.😢 Some of these fast food restaurants never made it to Massachusetts! Sonic has only ONE location here and that wasn't until about 10 years ago!

In the 70's McDonald's sold fried chicken in boxes in the Dayton Ohio area and it was very good.

I remember when I was in hs in the 70s on a Saturday night I would go to jack in the box for 2 of their very greasy tacos for .99

Wendy’s was sensational back in the 70s their french fries were crisp and delicious. They’re singles with cheese with everything was juicy and flavorful. The yumbo at Burger King was my favorite along with the whaler. And everything with $.79 cents

You didn't see that many fast food restaurants in the 1970s here in the south

Church's is so good! Only way I can get it here is if I go to the hood, which isn't often

They didn't evolve, they just changed. Most of these menus where better in the 70's than today. They went from good food to human made component food. The food today is less healthy than yesterday.

What about Popeyes?

Arby's doesn't have half the choices they used to. No more turkey and very few chicken options. Disappointing.

Arby's always suffered from one short coming that has become common today. Despite how good the food looked, somehow your teeth would always meet in thin air. 🤥
