Love your #1 pick for its "green" option. I have a nomination for next year's list...Boston Mass's Tree. On Dec 6, 1917 Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada suffered the largest man made , non nuclear explosion to date. An amo ship and a relief ship collided in the harbour. 1,782 dead so many injured. Every year since 1971 Nova Scotia sends a tree as a way to Thank our American neighbours in Boston for leading the relief efforts. I do hope we are able to carry this tradition on for many more years to come. Thank you Boston.
I love the Canadian wilderness tree. So simple. So beautiful. So full of meaning. My favorite Christmas tree is the one my mother left me. It's an artificial tree from 1954! Still in good condition because things used to be made to last. When she passed away at 96 in 2011 I inherited the tree and all the ornaments she had collected over her long life. I love them and the memories associated with them. I especially love the glass bubble lights from the fifties. There is no cohesive design or color scheme. It's just a wild colorful celebration of light and color. Thank you mother. I love you. ❤
Agree 100% about your top pick. We were raised in the Pacific Northwest (Washington State). Our family always went to a tree nursery and chose one with the root ball intact----so it could be planted in our yard after the Holidays. It was a cherished tradition, and those trees grew to be wonderful additions to the landscape, with plenty of swags available for clipping to deck the halls once again indoors. '. I now live in Florida, where those kinds of trees simply are not grown. Our trees are artificial, and we love them. While I miss going to the tree farm, and the lovely aroma of REAL fir/pine, it is (for me) a far better option than cutting down a beautiful tree to be briefly adorned, then discarded. Merry 'Christmas, Lisa! Looking forward to your videos in the New Year!
I love your annual review of fabulous Christmas trees from around the world. Oh, the Murano glass tree! Milan's really does reveal their fabulous design sense. Really like the whimsy of the Montreal tree. My favorite is the Canadian wilderness tree.
I love all the trees from your Dezignspace members!! Those are beautiful!! Love your YT channell!! The best of holidays to you!! (And to your Dad!!) 🌲🌲🌲🌲. Thank you!!
All Swarovski crystal Christmas tree in Zurich. Stunning. Looks like thousand of icicles hanging on a gorgeous green tree. I imitate this look, by using only linear shaped glass icicle ornaments on my tree. The glass is so luminous, that tree lights are not needed. A very elegant look by eliminating those ugly tree lights wires, and instead uplighting the tree with a floor lamp. But Lisa, your number 1, one tree in the forest, is my number 1 too.
There are people who decorate a tree for 12 months. In 2026, the USA will be 250 years old. I bought some 1776 flags. I made tiny pillow Valentine hearts for January through the 15th of February, and a shower curtain.Tis the Season! I love your energy!
Hi Lisa! I can’t believe the color of the lights on these trees. They must look amazing in person. Technology has made these tree magical. Thank you😊 for the world tour. Merry Christmas🎄 !!🥰🥰🥰🎄
Tim Traveller (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ufe5XKPdIWc.htmlsi=OtTSgLkkv2UvrwAP) did a really interesting vid lately on the "largest" tree in the world. He's very entertaining. PS: yay for the Melbourne mention (the plaza is called Federation Square, which we shorten to Fed Square - of course!)
Beautiful as usual, I was born in Lisbon but came to Canada 36 years ago (I am dating myself lol ) so I am happy that both Lisbon and Canada are in the mix but every tree looks amazing, I am a bit of a traditionalist so I love the one from NY but love, love all of them, Have a Merry Christmas and a great 2024, thanks for great videos and great decor.
Lisa, this was beautiful some of those places I’ve never heard of but some of them I have been in before, but not at Christmas time and it makes me want to go back at Christmas time! Thank you for sharing I only have one question for you! What does your home look like at Christmas time? How many trees do you have in your house?🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Oh, Lisa...all of the trees are so pretty. Maybe my two faves are the hologram tree and the sandcastle tree...because of the novelty. But, my favorite story is about the Rockefeller Center Tree as it really speaks to the original meaning of the tree, hope and light. What a feat that must have been for those men and their families during the depression. I'm sure this tree brought a a sense of joy, family, friendship and community during this rough time in history.
Dear Lisa, merry Christmas and all the best for 2024 to you and your family🌲🍀. Thank you for all your good interior tips, I learn so much from you and it is always fun to see your sparkling personality and energy😊 Greetings from Germany 👋
