This 20 minute stretching routine includes both dynamic & static stretches. If your body is feeling tight, give this a try! It's a great stretching routine to do at any time of the day.

I spent the last several weeks packing up, moving most of our stuff, doing an absurd amount of cleaning,getting paint carpet and repairs done and staging our house, so I haven't been able to work out, except in the sense that most days involve 20-50 times going up and down the stairs, carrying things and scrubbing. They just shot the house photos Fridays and we've got a couple of days before we list. There is no way I could have done all of the work I've done over the past weeks without having worked out with you over the last year. Thanks for helping me to have the energy and strength to get all of this done! And thanks for this video because I am sore all over.

Moving is an insane amount of work...but, it also means a lot of physical movement and exercise so you're likely getting in a lot more exercise and steps than you even realize. I wish you all the best with the sale of the house! I'll look forward to seeing you back more regularly when the move is finished:) In the meantime, breathe and stretch.😉

I'm doing the 7-day workout and I do this or the 30 min stretching routine afterwards depending on how tight I've been feeling. Wonderful and I highly recommend this routine. Thanks.

Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) in both seated and standing workouts, and categorize them all into the playlists. Just look for 'playlists' on the main page and scroll down to where you see the seated options. First time using this one, and it is so good. Your instructions are very clear, and the stretches really work. I did this by the patio door, open to a bright fresh early morning here in the UK, counting my blessings. One of the things I am thankful for is finding your channel, and being able to workout with you every day. Thank you for all you do 😊

Discovered your site by accident, looking for a way to exercise after knee and a severe break to my humerious. Your site is perfect and I do it twice a day. Thank you, I was going to try silver snearkers but they are too far away and I cannot afford the gym. Thank you!!!

Welcome to my channel, Helen! I'm sorry to read about the injuries but I hope my workouts will help to get you stronger as you recover. Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) in both seated and standing workouts, and categorize them all into the playlists. Just look for 'playlists' on the main page and scroll down to where you see the seated options. I also started a second channel dedicated to chair workouts and will add the link for you here: youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts I now upload all new seated workouts to the new channel. Lastly, I upload all of the workouts from both channels to my website at www.improvedhealthforseniors.com I hope that helps and I hope you enjoy more of the workouts when you try them out.

I agree, seated stretching is for all ages. I simply put 'seniors' since I feel a lot of people put in the search bar: 'seated exercises for seniors'.

I finally know your name! I'm new to your site and am truly impressed over how innovative you are with familiar stretches. Those extras tucked into the well known stretches intensified them and kept me very interested. Oh my gosh, these felt so wonderful. Especially after yesterday's hard workout. I did notice myself holding my breath sometimes, though, so perhaps reminding us not to do that would be a good idea! Do you think this is "sufficient" to do on days after a challenging workout? I felt like I needed a rest day, but wanted to maintain my record of doing some sort of workout every day.

You can absolutely do this every day, whether you've done another workout or not. This is great for getting the body moving in a safe way and all of the stretching will help to prevent injuries from the more challenging workouts. Often we get injured due to lack of flexibility so this will prep you for those, and help to stretch you out after:) On days when you can't find the motivation to work out, this would be great to do.
