Great video, thank you. One thing, as of today, the Credential has to be set up with a GitHub token, the account and github password don't work. You will get the "Repository authentication failed, check credentials. Make sure the user has both read and write access". So a github token for the password in the Credential. Other than that, the code runs smoothly. Thanks again.
Hi John, when I try to do the import from source control, I pick my credential that i setup and hit import, but it error and says "Repository authentication failed, check credentials. Make sure the user has both read and write access". I tested my credentials on Github to ensure they are correct and they are. Any ideas?
I think you have to get a token from GitHub and put it in as your password. I read that on some community post. From time to time I have to get a new token to make the login work again.
Nice video, though very technical and CSDM contains - business process in the navigator menu, but you skip this record type, without explanation? FYI: It is possible to show parent / child relationship on the dependency map related items, without step 13,
Hey Stig, thanks for the feedback. In hindsight, I should have probably done a short explanation on business processes, information objects, and technical services. Without step 13 I can see the relationship when mapped from the business service perspective but I can't see it when the map is done from the perspective of the application service.
