Hi there! These two posts share more details on how yoga supports reproductive health: www.livefertile.com/blog/7-benefits-of-yoga-for-fertility?rq=yoga thehormonedietitian.com/yoga-for-womens-health/ Hopefully, they give you some insight into how yoga supports ovulation (and the whole menstrual cycle). I'll add your question to my question bank/ video suggestion list. Be well!

You can do 1 or 2 more different cycle phase videos. So we can do (for example) various types of videos during our follicular phase, menstrual phase etc.
@LiveFertile
@LiveFertile 3 года назад
Have you been spying on me??? That's actually what I'm working on now. I have a yin yoga for the menstrual phase video and will be recording yin for the other phases this week. Well, this is confirmation I'm on the right track! Thanks for the suggestion.

@@LiveFertile glad to hear that :) is it possible for you in the future to do other types of yogs other than yin for these phases? and your channel is so well-prepared I hope that in the future you'll have more subscribers as you deserve
@LiveFertile
@LiveFertile 3 года назад
@@nazlok8687 Absolutely! Slow flow vinyasa will be next. It's super important that I keep the practices on the slower side since I have so many subscribers who are newer to yoga but slow doesn't have to mean not physically challenging. Thanks for your kind words and support!

Thank you this was awesome..just wanted to know, how is it determined which series of asana to be done at which phase of menstruation ?
@LiveFertile
@LiveFertile 4 года назад
I'm happy to hear you enjoyed! Each person might approach it differently and there isn't one right way but here's how I do it: I think of each phase as a season. Then I think of the meridians (from Traditional Chinese Medicine) associated with those seasons and list poses that stimulate those meridians. I also consider common concerns or goals associated with a particular phase and come up with poses that address those concerns or support those goals. Hope that answers your question!

hi, is this one helpfull for healthy egg release for ovulation while trying to conceive
@LiveFertile
@LiveFertile 3 года назад
Hi Lakshmi. Good question. I'd have to say it can help but it's important to remember, egg development and release are only a part of the cycle. How well those two go depend on the other phases of the cycle. I'd encourage you to consider and support the entire menstrual cycle: menstruation, the follicular phase, ovulation, and the luteal phase. And of course, yoga is only a part of the picture. Nutrition, sleep, and stress management are other important factors to explore. I'm wishing you all the best! 🤗

What does it mean if you get pins and needles in your feet during the forward fall?
@LiveFertile
@LiveFertile 2 месяца назад
I really can't say. I would want to ask you more questions to help you get a better idea of what it might be and how to address it. Unfortunately, that's not something that can be done via RU-vid comments (for legal, ethical, and logistical reasons). It could be worth talking to your healthcare provider about this, especially if the tingling feeling doesn't subside. Best wishes!

hello.. can i do these yoga during ovulation time?
@LiveFertile
@LiveFertile 2 года назад
If you feel good and comfortable doing these poses, I don't see why not. While I created it with the follicular phase in mind, it's not that it's unsafe to practice it during other phases. Our bodies can benefit from a variety of movements at any phase. I did create two other videos for the ovulatory phase/ fertile window you might like. You can find them here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MjUA_MlVUwk.html

Should we start this in first day of period?
@LiveFertile

Good question! It was designed to be done after the period ends until a couple of days prior to ovulation. I think I included that in the description box. Hope that helps! 😊

Should we perform this during ovulation time??
@LiveFertile

It's meant to be practiced during the phase before ovulation. I have a video for the ovulation phase. I usually recommend practicing all the phases. Each one affects the next! Hope that helps!

Hi, if yoga for all four phase is done, will it be helpful for ovulation
@LiveFertile
@LiveFertile 3 года назад
If I'm understanding what you're asking, supporting all four phases of the cycle with yoga (and other lifestyle-related behaviors) can optimize our ovulation. Each phase of the cycle affects the next and is influenced by the one before it. That's why it's so important to support every phase. Also remember, it can take time for things to change and yoga is just one piece of the puzzle. I hope that answers your question. Be well!

@@LiveFertile Ma'am and another one What if I am having anovulatory cycle , do I want to continue follicular phase yoga till next periods...?
@LiveFertile
@LiveFertile 3 года назад
@@fathimam5856 Really good question. Hmmm... If I was working with a client with the same concern, I would take a look at her menstrual cycle tracking chart. Then I might encourage her to do the follicular phase sequence from the day after the last day of her period until she starts to notice fertile cervical mucus at which point she could start the ovulatory phase sequence until she confirms ovulation. After that, she could start the Luteal phase sequence. If she doesn't confirm ovulation, I would recommend she start the follicular phase sequence again until signs of impending ovulation come back. Or I might just encourage her to simply move through the sequences as she sees fit. Our bodies are wise and while I designed each sequence to align with and support the physiological and energetic changes in each phase, doing them out of order won't ruin anything. Again, our bodies are wise and they are resilient. Best wishes!
