This 20-minute guided practice is a mixture of ground and standing movements. The session is more of a free form flow - there are no pre-determined sets / reps. Instead the focus is on exploration, play, and movement variability. Observe your movements from the inside out and make the necessary modifications to make the movements work for you. The primary benefits of the practice are increased mobility, balance, and coordination for real world movement competence.

62 years old and I just now heard about natural movement exercises from starting to read a book on Jiu Jitsu. Oh how I wish I had known about this years ago. I work out hard in the gym but obviously have a lot of work to do on functional strength and flexibility and will try to learn from you. Thank you so much.

Excellent video. As a doctor I always emphasize on mastering natural functional movements to prevent stiffness and arthritis or other musculoskeletal disorders . Just training in the gym and doing cardio is not enough. I highly recommend these moves for all the people out there. Great job!!!

Nice man, this was a real nice workout it left me almost drained, im kinda skinny so i guess is normal, I'll be doing this workout for the next months to come, would love to see another free form flow with another set of movement patterns. Thanks for this man.

I just subscribed to your channel. I like yoga, natural movement, and animal-inspired exercise. Those movements feel so natural to me. Thank you for producing these workouts. Honestly, your routines are the only workouts that I don't need to use music to get my mood into exercising. With the exception of Zumba, I really need mood elevator songs to keep me interested because the exercises are too boring. Your workouts are different. Can I ask when you practice these exercises on your own, do you find them funny? One of the reason I like your workouts is that I cannot help giggling a bit with some moves. That keeps my mind engaged. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I used to need music for every workout. These days I do appreciate listening to my body without distraction. I can get lost in exploring repetitions of the movements, it becomes like a meditation. Other times I still love to move with music...rather let the music move me. On my own, I do bust out laughing if I mess up or if I do something cool. These movement are meant to connect you to your emotions - hopefully there's a lot of joy there.

Nice natural movement training is awesome! Definitely feel it doing a lot of good as time goes on. All your videos are very good and give a lot of inspiration and ideas for my own training also great as follow along workouts. Would love to see you doing mov nat training in nature in the woods to see your take on using natural structures around you like trees, rock formations, logs etc if possible. I'm sure you could make some awesome videos of this. Keep up the good work bro you never fail to inspire and impress!

It's the "concept" that matters. It could be done in any order and not the specific ways in which he is doing it. The concept is to get in tune with the body and what the body needs.

Hi, I really like your explanations in addition to the movements. It adds a deeper meaning to each move. My only question is how do you protect your knees from getting injured? Is there a way to warm them up before, or something like that? Thank you very much, and keep up the good work

If your knees are a trouble spot for you I'd suggest focusing on them daily. Kneeling variations, knee circles, and deep squatting are all ways I keep my knees well-maintained. It will take some exploration but you'll come to find the best restorative movements for you. Cheers.

Indeed...IF your knees are not prepared for it. I always encourage people to be mindful of their body and never move into pain. Movement practice is individual and everyone needs to actively take part in the process. Figuring out what movements work for you, making the necessary modifications, and training progressively are all important parts of the experience. It's not about doing crazy or random things. It's about understanding where your body is currently at and being intentional about where you want to take your training. Best wishes to you in your practice!
