I suffer from depression and complex-post traumatic stress disorder. Everything I've tried hasn't worked, including electroconvulsive therapy. But I'm optimistic now. Adriene's Yoga journeys and practices have been part of my daily routine for almost 9 months. My therapist and psychiatrist have noted significant improvements in my mental health since I began doing yoga. For many years, getting out of bed for a few minutes a day was an accomplishment. But now I do yoga every morning for about an hour. It is something I enjoy doing! Although I still have a long way to go, yoga, and specifically Yoga with Adriene, has had a profound effect on my life. I am eternally grateful.
I am suffering from a dramatic breakup currently and feel the same thing … since days my mind was clear and the better thing empty for the first time … I can think again It’s amazing to read your journey as I wanted to comment my own. I have to say that even though I built so much strenght during this month and a half with yoga routines, today I had my period and I felt as weak as the first day. Such an important reminder that we are humans, finding what feels good it's not a rising arrow, it's a wiggly funny curve that moves towards our best "us"
Have you done her video Yoga for Women / PMS? When I am on my period I try to lean into what my body needs, which is rest and ease, so it can do it’s period thing (which is actually such a powerful act of nature when you think about it). I usually do that Women video or Yoga for Self-Care! 💞

Agreed! I did this before bedtime but I feel a fire of energy and zest to get something extra done before I hit the pillow. We adore Yoga with Adrienne and she is my go-to whenever I feel a little yoga deprived.

This is fast pace and works the abs without lots of crunches. Loved it!! Would be cool if there was a longer version. Loved making circles with feet- really felt my core working

Oh my....I cannot, nor never have been able to master the full sit up - even s. youngster when everything worked properly!!! So I tried coming from a low boat pose and rising from there - not nearly the same but better than nothing. I kept thinking I am strong ...even though I didnt feel it.....Going to try and not worry about it though i still finished the session - and thank you Adriene for helping us move out of our comfort zones 🙏
Blessed Beloved Embody Yogis (Day-7)! There's an internal freshness inside my body after this practice. The lifted leg circling straddles were firie just like Mondays. Hi Adriene and everyone else in the yoga community. These last few days have been extremely difficult on my mental health as I’m preparing myself to say goodbye to my best friend and the love of my life. She is my world, every culture has a different name they call her I call her Patti others call her abuela, grandma 👵🏽, granny, Nana, nonna, and so much more. These practices are probably the only time when I get to cry freely without having to be judged for crying during a workout. So thank you for this practice Adriene

Tell me - what did this feel good flow spark for you? The mantra Find What Feels Good - doesn't mean you feel GOOD all of the time. That is not realistic. But what it can do is spark something fresh and present for you to notice --- which can guide you into a practice of strength and awareness you never thought possible. This is really why I love home yoga and this community too. TELL ME what did this spark for you??
It sparked courage for me. I too had a severe nervous system breakdown a couple months ago that I currently repairing and healing. I started doing YWA every day since January and I notice the difference every time I step on my mat. I still have bad days but at least I have the courage and strength to recognize that it will pass. Thank you for this journey and this community 🤍
It sparked the release of tension after a loooooooong tough day. It sparked feelings of ease and peace, knowing that being on the mat is going to feel good, no matter what the practice. It sparked some smiles too, hearing Adriene’s sweet words of encouragement and giggles at myself when I realised that a - apparently I DO enjoy a core session and b- the amount of times I needed reminded to breathe. Awesome session, for which I am truly grateful x
This sparked more confidence and belief in myself, more trust in my strength and intuition, more patience. I used to have no self-discipline at all, but I've been trying to keep a promise to myself with a couple of things, including following the YWA calendars. I've just begun my 3rd consecutive month, but this practice showed me how much stronger I already am. It's been a long road and I'm still traveling it (probably always) but I've learned I could trust every feeling I ever had and that my body and intuition are always communicating to me. I could always trust myself. I have always been the one that can save me. I'm at a point that I still forget that sometimes but each practice I'm reminded of that and now I'm doing that daily. Thank you for your teachings!
Good afternoon my fellow yoga practitioners. Been in a rut lately with depression and feelings of hopelessness in the vast expanse. Haven't been keeping up with the yoga calendars. Saw this notif pop up and decided to DO IT! I definitely expected a little more relaxation and a little less ab fire but I'm here for it all the same. Here's to showing up. 💖
I have stepped away from yoga the last week or so because I have started another fitness challenge. But today I could not gather the strength to do another Chole ting video haha ( love her though) but I was down on myself because I still wanted to keep my promise with myself to choose healthy lifestyle everyday. So I decided to come back to my first love. Yoga with Adriene and honestly the best decision I made. I feel rejuvenated, I feel centered. I feel like I've come home haha. Truly Grateful for these powerful amazing women who create such encouraging places to reach fitness goals and spiritual goals. feeling blessed

I have started doing yoga more often this year after taking a break last year. Completing every day of the calendars this year thus far and getting back into routine has been amazing for my mind and body. I can definitely see the improvement already. Cant wait for this one! ive followed Adriene for over 5 years now and she looks just as first video and that motivates. I had a bad reaction to COVID and was practically paralized and have been trying to get my natural movement back with doctor and therapies these past 6 months ...... decided to begin YOGA again, feels like my first day but ill get there ! These videos helped me thru years but its now more than ever that i need them so much, thanks Adriene!

Good morning! How was today's practice? I felt really great. It's being very hot these days here in Spain and I'm waking up late, but I'm still motivated to do my practice every single morning. Today's flow was amazing, I love flows. After yesterday's practice, which was very introspective and there was no movement, I needed this, thanks Adriene. See you tomorrow on the mat! ❤
Flow Day 25 on May 25 2022, 145 Days of Yoga Today was one of those days where I felt really strong during the session. After a couple of weeks with a tired body, this was a great surprise! Noticing how far I've come since January 1.! More importantly, the infusion of energy to my soul, is what keeps me showing up on the mat day after day. Even on the days where that is just a memory. And today that feeling of inner ease deep in my center was strong! Namaste 🙏
I love Adriene’s yoga sessions. It’s powerful and flexible. I normally choose 15-20 minutes practice due to my hectic daily schedule. I’d love to practice longer sessions when I have more time. @@TD-qi2rw absolutely. I learned so much just doing it 3-5 days a week for about 4 years so I feel like 365 days in a row is going to teach me so much. I’m already looking into investing in a yoga bolster and stuff for more restorative yoga on days I feel a little more sluggish but don’t want to give up, which I had absolutely no interest in purchasing before deciding to challenge myself to a full year. Can’t believe we’re already 81 days into the year. Good job to you as well.

I wasn't expecting to be able to do this practice today. I have chronic joint issues which cause them to flare up multiple times a month. they hurt so badly this time around I can't stand for long periods at a time let alone use them for much. usually when this happens my go-to is very gentle yoga for these days but I followed the calendar for this month and I was pleasantly surprised at how much of this video I was able to do. I definitely had to do a few modifications but I did it and I think doing more engaging practices is very helpful when I feel this way. As always thank you so much for yet again another beautiful practice Ariene! love you lots!
Adriene, you sounded so tired at the beginning of the video. Not saying you were “going through the motions” as you NEVER do that…but you seemed weary, and no wonder; you’ve given and given so much for several years-especially the most recent two-and this yoga vid you posted a mere 12 hours ago has been viewed over 50,000 times already! What was uplifting, hopeful and beautiful is experiencing how your outer energy and inner positivity grew from the beginning of this 20 minute practice to the end. We saw and felt it happening to YOU as you shared this routine with us. So awesome and inspiring. A great session as always! I would love a video of “yoga for people with hyper mobility.” I love these videos but sometimes don’t know what modifications to make and worry about over-stretching my joints
Try the Wim Hof method for whatever ails you... I combine his breathing exercises and cold showers with Adriene's yoga and it's amazing what difference it's made to me in just three weeks
Heard someone once mention how you can hear Adriene's heartbeat because of the mic and it was so calm. I've been trying to get 'fit' and do resistance training like my friends but something with the whole ' i'm strong' all the time is uninviting. Yes, it brings enthusiasm but doing it mindfully like this is a completely different story. Lots of love!
