Man. Sterling's elimination always gets me in tears. But when he smiles and hugs Gordon Ramsay after allowing him to keep his jacket that made smile too. He's such a lovable man!

I love how everyone is laughing at Elsie’s soup, but as soon as Gordon compliments it, their smiles vanish, and when she wins, they’re destroyed lol

When Gordon said Sterling wasn't ready, he was still smiling. What a genuinely wholesome person the guy is

Dave, Declan, and Sterling are three of the best male chefs or best in general in "Hell's Kitchen" history. It's more then just food. Their attitude, they're genuine, not fake, and unapologetically themselves. Dave: Worked harder than anybody with an injured wrist. Declan: Humble, genuine, and just himself. Sterling: His infectious and positive attitude. Hope he's still keeping it 100.

With how much he always yells and gets upset it's genuinely kinda euphoric to just see the man be happy for this long 😭

I love how at 19:02, Ramsey walks over to the other side of the room so Nicole doesn't feel intimidated or trapped. A relatively small detail but one I definitely noticed, and shows how thoughtful he can be.

Gordon only gets so angry because he cares so much. When he compliments, it's the love with the same heart.

Love the "you work like a pig" moment with Petrozza. Shows what Gordon wants. Do your job and produce decent food and he does not need to pick on the things you could do better.

Have to say, I love the chicken soup woman, came onto a show with elaborate dishes and arrogant chefs and served a winning dish (Plus the other woman’s expressions were hilarious)

I will always love watching Sterling! He has an amazing attitude and always keeps his head high! Hope he's doing well these days!!

Seeing Gordon Ramsay happy in Hell’s Kitchen, is like seeing a blue pearl come out of a random oyster: not impossible, but definitely rarer than you’d think.

Surprised that Rochelle's elimination didn't make the cut in this list. She literally made him laugh and put quite the smile on his face. His compliment to her in a previous service should be included too

What i love about Gordon is he doesn't yell cause he likes it he yell cause he CARES and he knows how to give the most heartwarming compliments ever. Thats how you know he's not just a yelling machine but a great human

Steriling is the guy you least expected to become a fan favorite. He really grew on me. Even though we knew he wasn’t better than the other cooks, just couldn’t help but want him around.

He's not an asshole, he's just a perfectionist. It would be a bit unnerving someone swearing and belittling you, but anyone who has worked under a French chef, this is tissue paper, and in English. 🙂

Making Gordon Ramsay smile with your food must be an achievement of a lifetime for chefs.

Contestant: "I did [strange/unorthodox technique] to the dish" Ramsay: "You did _what_ to the dish?" Ramsay: _Tastes the dish_ Like 5 different competitors in the cutaways: "Who the actual fuck does that? That's the most stupid idea I've ever heard" Ramsay: "That's quite delicious, actually. Well done!" I don't care how cliché that's become on the show, I still get a high from it every time.

Happy Gordon is much scarier than angry Gordon, because it is so unusual and you don't know what may happen next.

That clip of Sterling is the fuckin best. His genuine smile and care when he asks if he can hug everybody before he goes (when they cut it off in this video) always makes my day

These will be played at his funeral. The only 20 full minutes of this man’s life where he was every happy.

I love how people's eye light up when they hear a compliment from Ramsay. I'm sure a lot of the contestants, like a lot of other people, have this impression that all he does is scream, but he only screams at the people who need it and pretty much only yells at them to get them to do better because they are better. For example, the way Sterling tells Ramsay that this was the opportunity of his lifetime with extreme gratefulness just warmed my heart. Ramsay really does a lot for these small chefs. I mean just look at Joy at 10:00, she literally cries it means so much to her and her team is happy af for her.

Man, T always brings a smile to my face.

Seeing the expressions of other chefs shift whenever other people get complimented is so fascinating, especially the four cooks that made meals out of left overs with fancy dishes and a girl with chicken soup won lmao, that bitter look was hilarious

Even though Chef Ramsay is hard on the contestants, he knows they have the potential to be amazing. Well done everyone. 👍👍👍

Up to this day, it still burns me that Sterling didn't get his hand on a prestigious Black Jacket

After Sterling left Chef Ramsey offered him a job but, Sterling didn't take Gordon up on his offer. He joined The Slider House as a Chef before moving to The Palisades Restaurant. He took part in a HK Takeover in May 2018. Sterling is currently cooking at a cafeteria at Saint Thomas Midtown to give back. The hospital gave his adoptive mom a lifesaving heart operation and is treating his sisters cancer.

Seeing Sterling always makes me smile because even though it usually cones with elimination, keeping your jacket is one of the greatest signs of respect in hell's kitchen, obviously at the end if the day the goal is to become the next whatever at Gordon's restaurant so he has to make decisions like this but Sterling is one of the few who earned that jacket and deserved the keep it. Another who comes to mind is Ji.

After Gordon Ramsay said that Elsie soup look like. Did you notice how Jessica face look she pushed up her nose and looked at Elsie like a clown then when Gordon Ramsay said Elsa dish was great she changed her face expression
