I've been trying to increase production value. Let me know what you'd like to see next. Update: If you want to use VIS look into using VIS-G instead, it's more recent. There is not a compatibility patch for Quest Tags and VIS-G though. Radiant Quest Marker doesn't require a patch. Update 2: I messed up when I thought consoles don't have a way to change FOV, they actually do now.
@@drippinwet774 bet you sound like a wet bag full of cats and dogs that's been run over by a bus. this man is making useful videos what you doing with ur life???
There are several "leader" mods for Sim settlements that allow you find people to act as leader to build your settlements so you don't have to use a companion.
Not gonna lie, the only mod on here that interests me is Sim Settlements. I honestly really like this game even without mods (I never really realized that was an unpopular opinion, lol). The settlement system is the one thing that I feel needs major improvements, and that mod seems like a great fix, providing a whole new experience to the game.
don't listen to haters. They just bitch about Fallout 4 because it was something different , not like before. Also it is hypocritical since lot of haters whine about workshop/settlement system while at same time settlement system in New Vegas was one of most popular mods... So screw haters enjoy what you want friend.
I ended up finding this video I'll try to figure out what Dynamic Performance Tuner and Load Accelerator was because I had it tracked in my Nexus mods and I ended up watching the full video and holy crap this is a very good video like I've looked for a mod videos like this for a while and I've never found a truly good one that covers most of the bases that I needed GOOD VIDEO❤
Your voice sounds exactly like my brother's, that's so strange. I've never heard of a voice doppelganger, but you have one. Hah. Great video, thanks for sharing!
Excellent video! Instantly subscribed. This is the best Fallout 4 mods video I’ve seen. I don’t even have Fallout 4 on PC yet-just on PS4-but I’ll buy it now as your video’s shown me how much better of a game Fallout 4 can be with mods (that aren’t available on PS4).
There is a file for combining load accelerator and dynamic performance tuner and load accelerator. There is also an update for DYNAPERF to make it work for the game update. EDIT: Check out Ruddy88's simple sorter. Sorts everything through Fo4edit, and no need to download other sorter patches.
Dynamic Performance Tuner and Load Accelerator are two different mods combined together yes. I showed that one. My game still crashes with update files, and I'm not the only one. Check the comments on DPT&LA config files page.
@@SilentNightx really? Did you update all the f4se related mods? Cuz I managed to make everything work (DYNAPERF and LA working together through ini edits, including ENB), and I'm not sure what's causing it to crash aside from that. Did you install nekyoubi's patch and edit the ini? He/she commented on another user's comment, I think it was ( user contentchop I think) maybe that could help.
I thought this was a very well done video with actual thought and effort behind it. As you are a modder, I have a couple questions. I am not very computer competent. First, do you have any idea why it is some systems with good specs have ridiculously long load screen times of 30+ seconds when running ssd's or m.2's while others have only a few second screens? It seems the load accelerator mod helps in this area, but i've seen things suggesting it is simply treating a symptom. Second, I have seen quite a lot of concerns on forums about malware from using nexusmods. it seems a lot of these issues came from the advertisements the website allowed, but there were also other, well written complaints that the site is negligent and lazy and has resulted in quite a few security breaches and underlining failures to do anything about. Even more prevalent seems to be malware from the mod managers. I've read a lot of 'nexusmods is popular, lots of people use it so it can't be bad' type of comments. which seem idiotic, that's a wonderful reason for it to be risky. i've read a few comments from people who 'seem' to know what they're talking about that there are major flaws and legitimate malware events surrounding it. Do you know anything about the subject?
All I want is a mod that will let me have actual slaves or soldiers that can actually do something for me I want to be able to send settlers or slaves that I equip with gear out into the waste to scavenge or do quest for me so I can chill at my base looking out the window just thinking about all the things taking place while I’m inside and warm
Regarding companions. Check out Amazing Follower Tweaks. The mod author made a trailer for it. It does nearly everything you want your companion to do and more.
a mod i can't play without is Gunners Overhaul it dose what the mod title says and also replaces the star on the combat chest to the gunners logo and another mod i think is really good is diamond city SWAT it upgrades the diamond city guards with better equipment
Holy shit. I found this video a month ago and I didn't like it at first so I spent a good while looking in my Liked Videos for this. Luckily I found your video in my history. You're too underrated. Can't believe this has only 5k views. Maybe that's why it was so hard for me to search for it through normal RU-vid.
Thanks! Not sure if this is a setting that can be customized in the ini files. Might be stuck with the .esps the mod author made or making your own .esp with the Creation Kit.
I think infinite ammo in a companion is still extremely unbalanced, and with no means of degradation the power armor only serves to god mod your playthrough into something that's way too easy. But other than that these are pretty cool mods!
Have you looked at DLC leveled list integration and rebalanced? It has a big impact on the way I play the game and I’d be interested to know what you think.
I really wanted to include a mod that adds the DLC weapons and ammo to non DLC locations but at the time I only knew of ones that required a bashed patch including the one you mentioned. Shortly after I made this video I found one that doesn't require that called Lore Friendly DLC Weapons in Commonwealth (Injector). I highly recommend it. People have reported issues with the Scrounger perk optional though so don't use that.
You can change FOV on Xbox now? My bad I didn't know that. I play with 120/120. I started using high FOV in everything after I increased my FOV in R6: Siege so I could see more which helped in competitive play. I got used to it there and now I don't mind the slight fish eye and low FOV makes me sick.
How does an ENB make the game run better? I’m not disputing it; just asking for clarification. If it improves the game’s graphical capabilities, surely it can’t _also_ improve performance?
This video is about how the guy modded out basic features of the game.... Most of these mods do change game balance, like the unlimtied ammo and unbreakable power armor for companions.... yea doesn't make any lick of sense for a game like this.
MY fucking gawd, the loading times are shit on your machine as well. Like, no matter what I do, I cannot get rid of those 10 seconds min loading times and they are annoying as all hell. Sure, playing with no mods gets me around 3-5 loading times but I'd rather have my balls cut off than play vanilla FO4.
My guess is that it's probably an issue with a game update and either VIS or DEF_HUD if you used either of those. Might want to look on those mod pages to see if other people are having the same issue. DEF_HUD does need to be updated with every game update btw.
@@SilentNightx Thanks dude! I actually had to delete the Strings folder(that I created previously for my english language pack) under Data to get that fixed, so my bad
@@Sevro720 yeah uhm to me a Story doesn't define a game if that's the case I'll never game and watch movies cuz in comparison games all have shitty stories.
DEREZZEDZ0MB Belman! It’s like crying about the story of Skyrim.... these games are soooo huge with weapons skills armor npc crafting looting exploration and so on and EVERY hater just complain about the story.... it’s like they searching for something bad just to cry and say oh the good old times with fallout new Vegas and bla bla bla....
For me fallout 4 I use to get laughs out don’t think I’ve actually played with mods seriously I just get ones to make me laugh but I do grab mods that make the world look more beautiful and that also don’t take my FPS
@@SilentNightx thank you! I've downloaded the most updated version to go with the most recent v. of F4SE and it still didn't work. I'm not sure what it is that I'm doing wrong since I've tried most of the advice posted online. It seems to be that the only thing that's left for me to do is to reinstall the whole game and go one mod at a time which isn't super worth it to me so I think I'll leave it off my load order. Still appreciate you taking the time to reply tho!
Gambit77 stopped supporting VIS he made a new mod called VIS-G which is much better As a modder myself I understand a lot of what you suggest. I subbed your channel so I can keep up with your suggestions. I have a bunch of these already but there are a few I will give a try I like the skills to level up way more than Bethesda's way through perks, I will add that for sure and your re balance. I put a link below to VIS-G www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/33383
Horizon is such a large mod. It's so large you have to start a new save dedicated just for it. It's also incompatible with a ton of mods. If I were to cover it then it would need its own video.
Pro Tip: If his voice is putting you to sleep, up the speed of the video to 1.25 or 1.5. Great video but no offense your voice can be very monotone at times.
Mods from Toaster have become questionable recently. Since the second half of 2018 the textures are messed up, and loading a new cell can cause your game to crash. Bad recommendation.
Sure you can enhance the graphics, gameplay, and add in new elements, but unless someone revamps the entire story line, it will forever be a game with a bad story and role play.
Then why you bought it ? Stop crying and buy a game like Elex oder go with something like gothic or the elder scrolls. The game isn’t perfect but with mods u can truly make it to an amazing game if you don’t have the negative attitude all the time!
@@AtraxX98 Right, we shouldn't be allowed to criticize a game, got it. Like I said, you can enhance the game with mods, but the writing is still crap ;)
I still miss way more quest mods for FO4 big and small i guess since the core game was a big dissapointment people dont care enough to make them and from what i gathered it isnt as easy. FNV had Project Nevada, New California etc amazing stories and big enhancements for gameplay on top of already hundreds of weather mods, flora mods, armor and gun mods and more, i just miss most of that in F04 who desperately needed this in a big way. The world felt so empty and sorry these mods youre mentioning didnt fix that it was just a small bandage on a big gaping wound. This isnt a critique on a really good video more of a critique of your evaluation that these mods is what was missing in the core game its so much more.
@@SilentNightx may have been bitter when i wrote this, i over-modded my new vegas playthru and it ruined it for me, fo-4 i am going easy on mods. i got 5 running atm. compared to my FO-NV days of 40+ mods
I think you previous fans must be stuck in a nostalgia rut. I want nothing to do with the previous Fallouts. Or 76, but that's just common sense. I also couldn't care less about most of these mods, but that's why we have freedom of choice. Still, nice video - sped up double speed in case of time wastage.
theirs nothing Wong with fallout 4. only thing was its two small if it was 4 to 5 times the size it my have been better. it has to be one of the best fallout to date .76 by have stared out buggy but its getting better.on words and up words Bethesda.
Fallout 4 doesn't have the rpg elements of New Vegas such as the different story choice, karma system,.and the perk system. That's really my only problem with the game. Other than the repetitive quests like the minutemen ones that could have been expanded on a little.
