So true. So very true. And those trademark Sachin shots - the 6 with just a flick of his wrists at 2:22, dancing down the track and hitting out of the ropes .. Truly classic.
He picked up the ball from off stump and deposited it to the longest part of the ground with minimal effort. I think we saw the best of Sachin from 94-98.
@@firefoxf9405 These deracinated BLM activists deserve the bashing. Current crop spoilt brats don't play for the badge anyways. If one gets paid so much, they are deservedly criticised for not meeting expectations. Any other "job", one would get sacked.
When Jadeja got out, he had played more than 7 overs out of 12 for his 19. Yet the overall run rate was commendable in those times, especially against the exceptional Pakistani bowling attack.
Sachin played against wasim, waqar, macgrath, warne, murli, ambrose, walsh, donald, pollock, saqlain, vaas, Chris cains, bond etc. At that time every team had great bowlers and pitches were not so flat like nowdays.
At 12.3 overs, India is at 62 for loss of 1 wicket. Of 62 runs, Jadeja made 19 of 45. So Sachin played 30 balls and made around 40 runs. Similary at 21.2 overs, India stands at 111 for loss of 2 wickets. Sachin contributed 73 of 64 balls and rest of the team (plus extras) managed 38 out of remaining 64 balls. Such was the dominance of Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.
Sachin literally carried the team throughout the 90s. After the arrival of Dravid, Ganguly, Laxman and Sehwag in the late 90s the burden lessened for him as India started winning overseas.
@@Anup-k8j Ganguly led the team from the front in his usual aggressive manner. Laxman always delivered against the Aussies. Go and check your facts straight before arguing.
At 109 score for India here, Sachin made 72 avg. 7 runs per over, so imagine, how the other end batsmen were doing with adding 35 at the rate of 3 runs per over, this shows the class of Master blaster how he made runs against top class bowling
This early version up until ‘99 of Tendulkar is probably all time best batting! Those whips, those back foot punches, the audacity and technical correctness - that will be rarest of rare beautiful but powerful batting in cricket. I thank all the players including Ajay Jadeja (rotating strike), and bowlers who were all part of this amazing exhibition.
@@RohitRainaLM actually just by pure batting wise, shots and power and flair, you just watch any of his hundreds in the 90s era you will understand why he was called the master blaster,he was something else back then,07-11 Sachin was a master,as Harsha Bhogle called him a surgeon aptly, early 90s was flamboyance with control....just watch it to know if(also yes maybe stats wise 07-11 was good, don't know the exact numbers, but pure batting talent wise 90s take the cake)
India v pak chepauk test 1999. India was chasing 271 in 4th innings and they were 82/5 by lunch. No recognized batsman to follow. Crowd of 35,000 stayed back with a hope that India would win. That’s sachin
Sachin is THE ONE AND ONLY in the history of world cricket who had to meet the expectations of 100+ Crore people every time he batted during the whole decade of 1990s. NO COMPARISON!! Sachin is the first one who started scoring very quickly by hammering all the top bowlers of the world cricket!! That's how he got the tag of "Master Blaster"...yes, he literally blasted all the great bowlers of that era!!
@@PoojaSharma-bd9pf agar koi batsman 100th 100 banayega tabhi usko greatest batsman sachin se compare kar sakte hain. Aur test mein to shyad hi koi 51 century kar paye.
Tendulkar was a phenomenon like no other! He played FC cricket at 15 years of age and scored a century. Then played Test cricket at 16 years of age and became India’s top batsman not too long after. Not many players play top class cricket at 15-16 years and even then they are mainly bowlers. Other so called greats in the era were like 5-6 years behind - They all took turns to have their time in the sun - Ponting, Lara, Dravid, Hayden, Waugh, Md Youssuf, Inzi, Kallis et al but there will only be one Tendulkar. Absolutely amazing!!😮
Waugh, ponting are nothing before sachin... Sachin was much closure or mat be better ( because of technique and conditions in which he played ) to league of greats like richards, Bradman.....
yeah....elated.!..now the sad part...India got allout for 219..after 111-1 in 21 overs...!...that was typical Indian batting throught the 90's...Pak won by 6 wkts!
That square cut, that flick for 6, that pull shot... Ppaahhh! Has power, balance and timing that only Sachin could combine. Even after 31 years of this match there is no one to match him! I am lucky to have grown up in his era. Truly
Some people say that he played for records but most of time, i saw him playing attacking cricket and his shots. Most of time he got out playing his aggression. Yes, he didn't target to play till finish after coming as opener, those days pitches were tougher, bigger boundaries and not as friendly rules. Pressure was always on him to score and keep run rate healthy while there used to be little support at other end. Today's kid can't even imagine what he did for us. If he is gone, game is gone, TV shut off ❤❤❤❤❤
After the arrival of india most talented batsman ever yuvraj singh india start winning against big teams and in overseas.. yuvi won two world cups for india in 2007 and 2011 single handedly. world will never see a great talent like yuvraj singh..
India was 62 of 75 balls when jaddu got out... And out of that jaddu scored 19 of 45 balls... That means Sachin scored 40 plus runs of 30 balls against this pace attack.... Salutes
73 runs from 64 balls against then world champion and heavy weight Pakistan bowling lineup , that too in Sharjah. It's remarkable. His every shot was enjoyable. Commentators were saying Kohli played less innings to achieve 46 odi century. No one said that the circumstances , sachin played not only against the world class bowlers Wasim, waqar, Walsh, Ambrose, Donald, Pollock, Vaas, Murlidharan, McGrath, Warne, Saqlain but also on dangerous bowling friendly wickets in aus, NZ, eng, sa , WI. Even in kohli's last 3 hundred against Srilanka, Bangladesh. How many class bowlers and dangerous pitches were there. One should account the all factors. Sachin has most 100 vs aus which was a dominant team last 2 decades. Kohli's inning against Pakistan in world cup was class.
Sachin is all time great, no one can compare with Sachin, there is no great bowler this time, everybody can score runs of these bowlers, Sachin played against all the great bowler Brett Lee Wasim Donald, and he has scored runs against all the great bowlers, Sachin is god of cricket
Never knew the great wasim akram got flicked for a six by the young genius . How come he states often in his interviews that he didn't play with tendulkar in his(akram's) prime..?
Sachin's One of the Best Six Against One of the Best Bowler Sir Wasim Akram...... Great Legends "Sachin ji & Wasim Bhai" in World Cricket History .......
The Joy in the faces of the people in the stands a lot.The moment people realised the Man was indeed send by God himself. What a beautiful player.Cricket is incomlplete without him.🌟
Cricket Heroes, any chance you've got to upload Javed Miandad's Career Best odi Hundred "119 not out runs off 77 balls" vs India, that match was played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, on 31st December 1982, please let me know.
I can only imagine how good a batsman Sunil Gavaskar was, who faced the carribbean pace battery without helmet and came out on the top while making loads of runs down under. So every generation has had their share of challenges and can't be compared but they should all be revered.
True. Gavaskar once carried his bat against England, playing an entire 60 overs for 36 not out. None of today’s batsmen would have the concentration and guts to do that. That too without a helmet.
Wasim Waqar McGrath Ambrose Walsh Pollock Donald Warne murli in sab legends k hote huey bhi india ko match jeetane wala bus ek hero tha God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar
Sachin changed the mindset of: खेलोगे कूदोगे तो बनोगे खराब् ! Sachin scored against Mcgrath, Merv Hughes, Mcdermott, Brett Lee, Mitchelle Johnson, Starc, Wasim, Waqar, Imran, Shoeb Akhtar, Dale Steyn, Donald, Pollock, Jimi Anderson, Broad, Shane Bond, Walsh, Ambrose, Warne, Murali, Saqlain, Qadir, Vettori, Danny morrison, Heath streak, Chaminda Vaas, Lasith Malinga, Ajanta Mendis, Mohd Asif, Ntini, Gillespie, Flintoff, Jack Kallis.. Legends themselves... Salute to all. ❤ Please reply if any one of you have seen these guys bowling at bowler friendly pitches and at their prime to tendulkar.
Some of the shots we see here frm sachin (00:57, 1:10),, we didnt see those shots later in his career,he used to play much more freely early in his career,,,,dnt knw y, he stopped playing some of those loftd shots particularly of the fast bowlers,,,he changed his game completely,,,,,,
