1996-1998 were the peak years in Sachin's career. Name any team, name any bowler, he didn't spare anyone of them. No modern cricketer can even come close that kind of performance.
@@Aman-nk5uq SACHIN IN 1997 TESTS - 1000 Runs at an average of 62.50 ( 4 centuries ) ODI - 1011 Runs at an average of 30.64 ( 2 centuries ) Those weren't bad records .
After all those non cooperation from team mates in Captaincy, after all those wrong umpiring, after all the pressures he managed single handedly, after all the injuries, after playing all the greatest bowlers of modern cricket, still he manages to steer his country with his bat. Genuinely, there might be more great batsmen and sportsmen in world cricket but no one really can parallel his charisma what Sachin has. He was, is and will be a GREATEST OF ALL TIME cricketer.
I remember I missed this innings because my father has banned cable tv and I went to my friends house to watch and his house was locked. And watching this for first time now after twenty three years!
Can u tell me what series it was,was it a triangular series or bilateral series,I almost have the record of all international series, but believe me I can't recognize this series,I firstly thought it was the first Sahara cup of 1996 in Toronto, but it's Singapore,so what series is this & who won this series 😊
cricket was brilliant before 2011.Thereafter many dominant teams became lassi like srilanka, pakistan, south africa, zimbabve and west indies however some teams became strong like england and newzealand but it does not have fun like earlier days.
In 90s and early 2000s was cricket interesting in way of different venues like singapore toranto sharjah ,crowd enjoyed the cricket, variety of players by skills, people still remind of these matches .
This man is beyond comparison. When he takes strike whole of India takes notice of the man. I personally respect him beyond adjectives. Miss him so much in the crease even after 8 years of retirement.
Honestly he was different batsmen before tennis elbow .....imagine if that never happened to him and he didn't had to make adjustment to his short selection and playing style
You're so right. But Kudos to Sachin that he made adjustments and still managed to dominate international cricket. Had this happened to someone else, his career probably would have ended right there.
Absolutely..before his lower back and tennis elbow injuries i think till 1999 or 2000 his innigs comprises maximum of pull shots and square drives..post this injuries those shots were cut down by him and replace with late cuts and etc...hr was different when he played pull shots..
There are few sports broadcasters as lively and lovely to listen to as Tony Greig. I believe the man had a fond affection for Sachin Tendulkar - never had I heard him get as animated in his praises for a batsman as Sachin!
One of the most toughest fierce bowling side against the greatest batsman of all time..It was pleasure to watch the little master against Waqar Wasim and Shoaib.
His commitment, concentration, responsiblity for carrying the dreams of millions unbelievable carrier 👏👏. That era was rich of deadly bowlers having equal opportunity to the batter and bowlers from the pitch...once he was alone and he easliy carried the pressure and expectations of the country by his heavy batt. That's why sachin 'the god of cricket'
I remember the phrase that time when people could easily say "Sachin hai na.." bas no matter whatever the wicket column says it's just dependent on Sachin
What an amazing innings by tendulkar., in the 40 th over he was trying to score as much as he could and got out it was possible for him to stay till the end by playing singles and doubles., could have remained not out., but he didn't play selfish cricket like Ravi Shastri., in fact he always played attacking for his country., still there are many Tendulkar haters who call him selfish cricketer., feeling very sorry for such a narrow minded people rip for tendulakar haters., and thank you very much Mr sachin tendulkar for giving 100 percent while playing for India. From shri sachin Potdar Andheri mumbai India.
Out of Sachin 100 100 India won/drew 75, 32 centuries and 44 fifties against Australia and South Africa best two teams. He is the greatest Batsman after Bradman.
@Anil Narayanan abe CHSO4.. Ask Kohli, he will tell you. Kohli still struggles in Test Match Cricket in away games. NZL Series is an example. He averaged like 10 in England in 2014, Less than 10 in NZL this year. And about 15 against Australia at home in 2017. Sorry thats too many failures for an ODI great. He is making up numbers against extremely week WI, SL and SAF. And he is supposed to be at his peak in Test Cricket when these scores came. At his age, Sachin had already conquered Aus, SAF, WI in their home without any failures
Very lucky to watch the greatest player Live in TV and also had the privilege to watch a match against Aus at Hyderabad where the master scored 175 runs....
A marvellous knock by Sachin Tendulkar.Unfortunate at that time only Tendulkar was considered as a one many army of the Indian cricket team.He didnt have players who could sheet anchor him.Anyway those were indeed memorable times owing to the efforts of Sachin.
No one can get his place in modern cricket because he had faced all the world class bowlers in his career.such bowlers aren't seeing in modern cricket now.thats why I am big fan of him .
True legend, Deserve all awards, love, respect.... Sachin Tendulkar India's biggest legend 🌟 star. Look at the same style of batting, passionate, love with cricket. Best in the world of cricket,, India's Sachin Tendulkar, 👌👍👈👈👈✌
No words to describe sachin's greatness. Facing waqar in his prime as an opener, scoring runs against the good opposition plus handling pressure of billions of fans on his shoulder is not at all easy.. Thats why he is the GOAT legend 😊
Lol Pak's bowling was absolute sht in this match. Thing is, India never wanted to play PAK when their bowling was at peak because every time they would, they would get destroyed. There is plenty of internal politics most of us don't know about and won't understand.

@Anil Narayanan Sachin match looser......son that comment alone shows your ignorance. Have a guess how many times Sachin was the teams highest scorer in his 663 international matches......sunshine do some research and you'll realise he was playing with morons most his life. .....but nevermind.
Saqlain sledging Sachin after getting the wicket....Sachin remembered this..and in a tournament that happened immediately after this,Sachin sledged Saqlain after trapping him LBW...
Damn correct man. Here is the link to that match. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YszfwGsa-Jo.html Sachin animated after getting him lbw, dont see that often. Banerjee how old are you?
11:21 For those casting apprehensions on Sachins match winning abilities- That scoreboard sums it up.. Look at the runs and the strike rate.. With a bowling unit that never had quality Pacers who could swing and seam and a fielding unit that was lopsided India's chances of winning depended on a powerful batting display that expected Sachin to fire each time and wen he didn't the match was lost in the first 30 mnts. Next look at that batting line up.. of the top 7 batman at least 3 were accused of match fixing and to that India always had at least 1 or 2 players who played solely to keep their position in the side..look at the strike rate of each batman. In such a situation how do u expect India to win? India never was a Pakistan or Austraila that even if the batting unit failed the bowlers would win u matches. Umpteen times we have seen Australia and Pakistan defend low scores as low as 190 and 200.. To conclude India lost this match also... U decide whether Sachin was Selfish or he was the best match winner ever..
As usual exaggeration at its peak when glorifying their players by loud Indian Fans. How can this be the best attack in the world in the absence of Akram.
So there was this TENDULKAR n then there were Donald,McGrath, ambrose, patterson,Walsh, bishop,Allan Donald,Gillespie ,Waqar,Shoaib,Aqib,Wasim, warne, murali, saqlain ,Pollock,lee,steyn,hadlee.. This is how great Sachin was!!
Sachin changed the mindset of: खेलोगे कूदोगे तो बनोगे खराब् ! Sachin scored against Mcgrath, Merv Hughes, Mcdermott, Brett Lee, Mitchelle Johnson, Starc, Wasim, Waqar, Imran, Shoeb Akhtar, Dale Steyn, Donald, Pollock, Jimi Anderson, Broad, Shane Bond, Walsh, Ambrose, Warne, Murali, Saqlain, Qadir, Vettori, Danny morrison, Heath streak, Chaminda Vaas, Lasith Malinga, Ajanta Mendis, Mohd Asif, Ntini, Gillespie, Flintoff, Jack Kallis.. Legends themselves... Salute to all. ❤ Please reply if any one of you have seen these guys bowling at bowler friendly pitches and at their prime to tendulkar.
I think this is Dravid 's first odi match where he was run out for single digit score. Remember India players paying fine in SG because their cricket gear endorsed tobacco brands. Also believe Salim Malik or Ramiz Raja hitting a 4 to win the match.
