A bunch of people can teacher without certification depending on the studio plus there are people who pay for a certification without going through proper training and Yoga Alliance cannot trace it.
EXACTLY. Hilarious right? It's all about the dollar bills here in the West. Take something sacred, flip it on it's ear and make a million dollars off of it. Just ask Bikram and Baron......
I agree with healthy and nutritionally rounded eating but only eating juice for 3 days is a bit pseudoscience and potentially dangerous for the gut and blood sugar if an individual isn't healthy enough to balance their body out. I get that these people chose to sign up for it but personally I believe there are better ways to show people discipline, reward, emotional clarity and effective use of all the bodies energy.
Hello. I love your yoga instructor training! I am planning to take a course soon and I am searching for a school that has true yoga. Could you recommend me a school like yours in Los Angeles?
I don’t understand why no sex when that is very beneficial for resetting your mind, body & soul. I would say perhaps if you are a single person with no regular sex partner I could understand where having random energies interacting with you could bring a more chaotic veil over you but not someone like myself who has been married for 11 years.
Hi Dorian how r u doing? I am learning yoga since 2015 and now i am doing my basic TTC in Bangalore. However i want to join your your school TTC.. Would u please let me know how can i enroll myself and T&C.. would like to hear from you. Thanks R Sil
The market is overflooded with yoga teachers. Althohgh I bet your training is good, it is ethucally correct and mindful to make an awareness that it will be very difficult for teachers to get a job teaching yiga nowadays.
I do agree with being on time and studying but the Personal rules you call Tapas is offensive. People are so independent that some of them don't even want to wear a mask (I do wear a mask). I paid for my training. I'm glad I paid for it. If you get a woman that the teaching the training she would never abide by the personal rules (no sex). I don't drink alcohol or take pot but I don't judge for everybody.
Joy yoga4joy I am now taking a webinar she’s hosting I’ve heard her name before but had no idea about the training I love her personality and teaching style 🙏🏽
Technically you do not need to be certified to teach. It's not against the law. The yoga alliance is a really loose organization... go to their website. You can set up your own school get insurance and start teaching online and in your local community. Yeah sure a ytt may give you more confidence but it's not illegal to teach without it. In my opinion these training courses are a great way for studios to get 3500 per student for a few short weeks of instruction. It seems money based to me not instruction based. I've learned more online than in studio with teachers help. A lot of teachers are doing things wrong anyway so it's all a matter of finding confidence, balance and making shit happen.
The training that I'm in is rigid with rules like coming on time and studying. But there's no rules like being a Vegan and not having sex. I think if a woman was an instructor training like in YagaHawaii that most people would quit except for the people that are given a schlarship. The schalarship people would just lie.
@YogaHawaii Magazine I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else is searching for become a certified yoga instructor try Hopandar Instruct Yoga Helper ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my work buddy got cool success with it.
@@Ilovechickpeas the earliest mention of yoga located in the rgveda - that is, early rgvedic society - thoroughly enjoyed consumption of beef and many other animals. yoga also meant during this time 'action' and was framed within a very martial context. while it didn't specifically mean 'war' and relates to all things that war requires action to accomplish. they offered bbq in sacrifice to appease indra who loved it. the dharma shastric literature suggests that one should kill a cow and have a bbq when the son returns for his annual summer holidays. this is the related to the same kama literature that explains a healthy life includes sex. many, if not most of the aghoris and tantric sadhus engage in the pancha makara (the five 5 'ma's which include maithuna (sex) and mamsa (meat)) these people are the closest to a "true" or "authentic" yogi... even swami vivekanda extolled the virtues of eating beef, especially to young men. so with all these precedents I'm wondering how yoga is made more effortless and more joyful, particularly when the first definition of yoga is action and the definition of haṭha yoga is forceful action...
I think it's like when you go on a vipassana retreat and the rules there are to abstain from harming other living beings - answer, don't eat meat. Abstain from sexual misconduct - answer, don't have any sex. Etc. It makes it easy to live a pure life for the particua3time period. Rather than weigh up the ethics of everything you eat or any sexual practice just remove the particular food group or activity and job done.
@@patrickmccartney7544 Bullshit. I don't know which translation you people read but there is no mention of cow sacrifice in any of Vedas. No, Vedic people didn't eat cow. By the time of Upanishads most people had started abstaining meat for higher realisation. Patanjali Yoga Sutra which is the foundation of modern Yoga clearly states abstaining from meat & sex.
Better to do an under graduate degree in yogic science for three years and then a masters degree in yogic science for two years, rather than this stupid 200 hours where the actual essence of yoga is nowhere near to be seen teaching.
In the yoga sutras, it discusses brahmacharya which is a form of self restraint that includes sexual restraint. It is a common practice for many religions and cultures to practice celibacy as a way to deepen spiritual connection.
