200 Subscribers! Thank you so much for supporting our small but growing channel. We really appreciate all the people who are enjoying our videos :) To celebrate this small milestone I made 200 kruidnootjes, a Dutch treat normally eaten early December during the Sinterklaas festival.
100-150 kruidnootjes
Ingredients:
(Spekulaas Spices)
8 tbsp Cinnamon
2 tbsp Nutmeg
2 tbsp Ground Cloves
1 tbsp Ground Ginger
1 tsp Ground Mace
2 tsp Ground Cardamom
(Kruitnootjes)
1 3/4 cup All Purpose Flour
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder
1.5 tbsp Spekulaas Spices
3/4 cup Salted Butter (Cold)
2-3 tbsp Milk (Start with 2 and add 1 more if needed)
Steps:
Step 1: Mix all the dry (kuitnootjes) ingredients together
Step 2: Mix in the Butter, cut it up into pieces before mixing
Step 3: Add 2 tbsp of milk, add 1 more if needed
Step 4: Kneed the ingredients into a ball.
Step 5: Make small 1/2 inch balls and lay them on a baking tray.
Step 6: Bake for 15-20 minutes at 175 C (350 F).
Step 7: Allow to cool and Enjoy :)
