@@macattack6054 I didn't say they wouldn't work I said just because u have 2 of the best players dosent mean ur guaranteed a win if that was the case those heat teams woulda won every year
@@macattack6054 if we doing that kd best midrange scorer ever imo Luka literally unguardable pg we all know what pg does then giannis one of the most dominat players on both sides of the ball them back2 back mvp jokic who can stretch the floor and facilitate like bron
@@SixthManShow I saw your episode with Kenny I left 3 comments on his video with yall but I'm ecstatic to see yall colab with ttw like this. No wait Scratch that idea the sixth man show + ttw + pick a side = 🐐 pod
As pick a side’s 1 fan, i’d like to appreciate Joel and Riv who even at 100 subs made me feel like i was apart of the PAS community. 200 episode not that far off from 30k subscribers and it’s not any different. Love y’all 🫶🏽💯
As I stated plenty of times, Through the Wire and Pick a Side are the best two NBA basketball podcasts out there for true/real NBA basketball heads. The structure and debates and the amount of legitimate knowledge from both shows is by far the best out there.
See this what separates y’all from a lot of people. Love this shit. Perfect personalities that fit together. And y’all linked with the goats. Love y’all man 💯
I feel like the main argument for Pick a Side lineup was the perimeter defense and yes Lebron and Kawhi have good 3pt% and can knock it down but you're not asking them to prioritize the threes like P said you don't really want Kawhi taking 8 threes like that same can be said for Lebron. So I gotta go with TTW lineup on this one.
I like how everyone laughed when Joel said RJs game winner turned the celtics season around but Tatum was literally asked that question after the celtics won the ECF, and Tatum said his toughest moment was blowing that 25 pt lead in MSG and the RJ game winner over him. So dude basically endorsed Joel's opinion months ago 😂
I don’t think having Toronto as an honorable mention for the Top 5 starting lineup is that crazy. GTJ, OG & Scottie are all young enough to expect them to be better next year, with Rookie of the Year Scottie going in to his second year and OG and GTJ have steady improved every year of their career so far. Fred is an All-Star and Siakam is All-NBA. Fred an elite defender for his size too and a top 5 shooter in the league, Siakam was averaging like 27 for the last month of the season Only starting lineup to have all 5 players average 15pts or more last season if I remember right I think their ceiling was more so related to their lack of bench depth and spacing (the latter of which Toronto is known to develop non shooters to at least decent), not the potency of the starting lineup
@@ITSMINECRAFTTIME32 Fred’s numbers went down because he was playing bad after he got injured roughly around the All-Star break. Just looked up his stats he was shooting 40% from 3 pre All-Star shooting 10 3s a game.shooting 47% on catch and shoot (finished the season 43%), Finished the season with like the 3rd most 3s made. If you still don’t wanna put him Top 5 that’s cool, elite shooter nonetheless in my opinion
@iiivmmi I think OG, GTJ & Scottie is better than Kuzma, Avdija & Morris. You can maybe argue the rankings between Toronto’s 2 All-Stars and Washington’s 2 All-Stars, but I think Toronto’s other 3 players in the starting 5 clear Washington’s personally
@iiivmmi Bro what? You’re cracked dude. You mention 2 all star calibre players. FVV was all star last year and Siakam has been an all star and was all nba last year. Scottie was ROTY and id all star calibre. OG a better defender than Deni, in fact every raps starter is a better defender than the wizards best defender
Absolutely. Raps were a 5 seed with one of the worst benches in the league. Took sixers to 6 games despite Fred missing time, Scottie missing time, GTJ being sick. That was with healthy Embiid unlike when the sixers played the celtics. I don’t think they’re top 5 but prob top 7 or 8. If Scottie takes a jump they could be even higher
If I was Through The Wire I would take Jimmy Butler and slide Giannis at center cause we know damn well that Giannis can guard Embiid and now you have Butler and PG guarding the perimeter
I had been listening to through the wire since day one and I didn't know about you guys until I saw this episode and am I do glad I did. Y'all have became one of my favorite podcasts now.
Pick a side wins imo because TTW has Luka and jokic which are both defensive liabilities. Pick a side has Steph which is their only defensive liability
TTW y’all gotta post this on your channel so it shows up as a notification. I didn’t know about this til someone mentioned it today in the pod. I don’t have Pick A Side notis. If you do collabs, post like a short video just saying you did one and w/ who, and put link in the description AND pin it. Shorts don’t show up for notifications for me. So make it a regular video that’s short. Idk YT but I’m sure you can do that. ✌️ and awesome pod! Huge TTW fan but I’m really starting to like Pick A Side more and more.
Bro i just walked into the best crossing of universes, its too tough because Pick a Side got a good defensive unit but that lebron pick messed them up bro, i gotta go with the TTW squad like P said Embiid is getting wrote out of that game💀
