A moderately comprehensive timeline, represented in color photos, of the period roughly from 1780s through the present day (early 2020s). It goes without saying that some artistic license has been applied to some of the "photos" from the early parts of the video as there obviously were no real photos from such early periods in the late 18th to early 19th century. With that being said, those fictional depictions still are, along with the real ones, accurate to the respective time period and subject that they represent. People and events from the past are often thought of as somewhat alien and foreign to us, but in many ways they were very similar to us and our time. The images speak for themselves.
