Hey ive got a 93 4700 with dt360 so its slightly different and i feel like there should be some insert or bushing to push against it. Is there a way i can get ahold of you and show you what i got? The dealer says the bushibg isnt available and a new mounts over $155
Thank you so much for this video. If I may ask, I did a fan clutch and radiator replacement on my 2002 and now I am seeing the water oil light flashing on the dash after about 7 seconds of running and then the engine shuts off after about 30 seconds. Do you happen to know how I would remedy this particular situation? Thank you kind sir.
@@dairleautoclassicrestorati6892 Update. So I figured out that it was the sensor switch in attached to the overflow reservoir. The reservoir and sensor are only about 1 year old if that. Nothing came up as a DTC. I unplugged the switch first and that stopped the light coming on and the engine shutting down. I then pulled the switch off of the reservoir and plugged it back in. Warning ⛔️ light did not come back on. So now I just hope I can buy just the switch. Only problem is now I’m wondering if whatever activates the switch from inside the plastic reservoir is bad. I think it’s some kind of magnet but not totally sure. If I can locate my old one I’ll cut it open and find out. Truck runs fine without it so I’ll just have to keep an eye on the fluids daily until I figure out this predicament. Once again thank you Kind sir for your time and expertise. I understand and respect how hard both are to find.
hey I am having problems with my truck everytime it gets to about 180 degrees it shuts off the engine and brake pressure light come on for a bit then go away. and it will turn back after about 5 minutes
I would make sure the coolant level is proper. Leave the Radiator Cap off. Allow Engine to run and reach operating temperature. This will allow air to escape out the reservoir.
@cb3002233 That's a good question. It is possible that your 1998 maybe what I call a half radiator on one side and Blower Charger on the other side. If that's the case. It pretty much the same but with a total differ style Radiator.
