How To Replace Ep.1 Today I briefly run through the process for replacing your faulty blower motor resistor on a 1st generation Ford Focus sedan. Enjoy, and leave a comment with what you think!
Thanks. After watching your video I think I need to replace the blower motor because mine only comes on every now and then. I'm from KY also, I'm from Louisville.
I think the fault is in the thermal fuse at the end, If you measure it it will surely be open. In other cases the fuse fails, remaining closed and does not react to the temperature. You can simply cut it off at the legs and solder an equivalent one in its place. That area of the engine will never reach the 250 degrees necessary to melt the tin. The only problem is that when you clean it you also erase the printed values, but I think it is usually a 104º and 10 amp fuse in all cars.
