It looked good as a dually and it looks good the way you have it now. I used to be a land cruiser guy, but over the past couple years I’ve fallen in love with these obs trucks.
The trucks never been a dually so you make no sense. From the day it was built it always been a single wheel truck. So you aren’t even making sense. Go back to your land cruiser weirdo 😂
Glad I’m not the only one who had the same idea. Most people take all the moldings off, I’m going back in time. Bullet holes, correct decals and moldings, Same lift, color, mirrors, etc! Beautiful truck man!
Beautiful truck! 3500, that’s a man’s truck!!! Two things if you’re open for suggestions, 1, have you ever considered doing an 8.1 swap??? That truck is a perfect candidate for it. 2. Have you ever considered putting in step hangars by each door for getting in and out easier. Or some sort of step done to your liking would be beneficial to your seats. That would help from wearing the fabric out and breaking down the foam cushion on the edge of the seats. Only suggestions. It’s a beautiful truck, & love it! Can’t beat the pin striping nor the American Classic wheels you have!🤠
Love your truck, I just found a 1993 k1500 with only 90000K and no rust (barn find) looking forward to adding some cool upgrades. The Bf goodrich are a classic touch.👍👍
I have the same truck but mine is a 98 silverado 3500 454ci Crew Cab Long bed 4x4 dually and it's a 5 speed. I'm currently trying to convert it to SRW since I'm not towing anything and it'll improve my gas mileage. I also believe I have 4.10 gears but not sure. I have a rebuilt T56 6speed with a higher 6th gear than the 5speed so that'll help even more with the mpgs.
Another question im looking at a 3500 long bed right now and im curious did you have to move the axle up did you have to do any mods at all except the diff? I want to do a short bed conversion
Love this conversion. I didn’t know they made a crew cab short bed. I have a 93 crew cab c3500 2wd diesel and wish it was a short bed. What would you recommend I do? How can I find one of these trucks? I wouldn’t want to cut the frame either. Open to any suggestions. Thank you for this video. Beautiful truck!!!!!
I've been hearing that to convert the dually to SRW all you have to do is take the spacer off the front and put it on the back. It'll make the back wheels stick out wider by maybe an inch on either side but that's hardly noticeable unless you walk right up to it. Anyone else heard of this... Just trying to get as much information as possible before I dive right into it.
@@projectx4179 I'm considering going with 20x12 with -44 offset and mud tires. I had that setup on my 2015 Silverado 1500 double cab standard bed with a 3/2 lift
