Issue with a 2000 Honda Civic being stuck in drive with no reverse or neutral. Weird erratic gears and partial gear sector functionality. Sometimes gears would slam into place. Thought it was a bad transmission but upon inspecting I found a broke gear selector.

The reason it broke was whoever previously worked on it didn't put the transmission mount bolts back on so the engine torqued alot. But I found this might be an easy break point that was about a 20 minute fix after days of fretting.
