How do I identify which trans I have in a 98 cr-v? My bearing on the passenger side of my final gear went out, lots of chatter and no movement. Pulled the passenger axle and the female splines had an inch of rotational play. Thank you for this video, the cr-v trans isn't very easy to find on the Internet.

Hi I replaced my 2000 Crv trans and its got no reverse. When shift to Neutral, it crawls forward. What can be done, does it mean it reverse was assembled wrong? Thanks Eric

I got a question for you. I just tore down and replaced the front output shaft bearings on a b4ra. everything else seemed to be fine. I put it all back together and everything worked fine for over a week. I went to put it in reverse and it won't engage it's like it's in neutral, it will engage all other gears!! whats your thoughts on this? Thanks for your time and expertise!!

Hello, Thanks for the video. We have a 1990 Honda Accord with an automatic transmission. My son's first car and we just changed the timing belt. Now this. When shifting into reverse it makes a grinding noise but does not engage. Drives fine in all forward gears. Will cleaning screens or replacing the solenoids have any effect in this case? Could the shift linkage be out of adjustment. Also, sometimes the transmissions shifts fine into reverse. Is it controlled by pressure? We have only had this problem two days and can't make rhyme or reason why? The car is probably only worth $1000 but we have spent that much fixing it up besides. Appreciate any tips you might offer. Thank you for your time. It is much appreciated.

I think I put that piece in backwards, my odyssey have no reverse. When put in reverse it feels like it’s in parked. Also neutral feel like in parked too when coming out reverse. I have put it in drive then go to neutral for it go in neutral. Drive perfect forward. Any idea why reverse feel like van in parked. Can that folk rod backwards causes the issue I’ve?

hi I have a 01 Honda Crv with a MDMA trans. it has problems with reverse after it warms up. I just do did a rebuild on the trans. it does fine in forward and revers till it warms up. then it want to not reverse. any idea of what it could be. thanks in advance

Hie, how do you remove the 3 bearings on the casing. Those bearings havelock rings on the outer race.

had to change CRV diferential gears in order to fit the CRV CV axles which are wider than the civic diferential

good friend I have a doubt the fork of reverse to place it has 3 positions, above intermediate and under you in the video leaves it down. in that position it's the right thing I have a problem

hey hiram chris here again.... i find every bmxa im working on latley is coming with worn case where the bearing sits. i have been fixing them by pegging it then using red lock tight. its not the ideal fix but it seems to be working.. was wondering if you have a fix you do? or do you purchase a whole new case. Also do you change the little bushing inside the main shaft? that will also cause bind up in reverse.. and also if your case is worn it will also cause a bind up.

What think cause it to shutter bad on cold start up? In reverse..but as soon as i put it in drive shutter disappears. And only on cold starts.. warm start throw it in reverse after start no shudder. Very confusing

My car refuse to reverse What should I do to fix it

would this make a clicking noise if you rotate the shafts. I am rebuilding mine now and when I rotate the main of counter shaft it clicks in one direction. Catches and clicks as it skips over that part.
