In todays video, Brett LaSala assembles this new Coyote engine. This engine consist of a FFRE engine short block with a pair of voodoo cylinder heads that they did a ferrea valve job on. This is a high effort coyote build. It's going into a twin turbo all-wheel drive F-150. This uses a predator block that's sleeved and then paired with this head. This is one of the best combinations for a coyote in my opinion that you can use with Factory castings. There will be two 76 mm twin turbos going on this setup. A lot of horsepower and really good set of parts. Watch the full video to learn more about this setup.

@@69BOSS429s it though? "predator" block ,GT350 heads, different crank at what point is this not considered a coyote to you? because for me it was awhile ago😂... I got the same heads that came on my coyote just ported different cams my work is trying out and some good internals with a real big turbo if I had the money I would do the exact same thing brett is doing though..

They’re not good race engines too damn heavy. Like outperforming a 7.3 ford diesel. They never break but they’re not going to rev.

Any reason the aluminum "Predator" block is used rather than the "Werewolf" cast iron coyote block other than weight? The Werewolf block was designed from the ground up as a drag application block with class-50 cast iron, 12mm head stud holes, and able to be stroked to 99mm.

Because there is no need for the cast iron block unless youre doing a budget build and dont want to use sleeves. FFRE uses thick steel sleeves that that are much stronger than the cast iron block. They have yet to find a weakness with the aluminum blocks (once properly sleeved) that there is no need for the added weight.

@@realshidd3062 Stock block means something entirely different than stock engine. The block is a factory Cast OEM part you can pickup at a dealership. Not a custom billet block or an aftermarket block from a company.

These guys keep wanting to state it’s a “coyote build”, when it really isn’t. Predator block, GT350 heads, different crank, etc, etc. Not saying this isn’t impressive, it’s just not done on the cheap with a Coyote motor.

Please show us another platform that's done what theirs has on OEM parts.... You can't because this is the pinnacle of modded oem performance. Maybe you didn't see his dominant performance last sick week? Quickest/Fastest proven radial car in the world that's been street driven and on oem engine parts.

These are all coyote parts. Coyote is the engine family. If I build a 2 barrel 352 and then build a 427 side oiler and put them next to each other guess what, they are both still FE’s. If the parts don’t interchange and they aren’t the same engine family then you would have a point, but they don’t, and you don’t.
