2001 Dodge Ram "DashSkin" Install 

Just did mine. Came out like New. Fits like a glove (not OJ’s 😂) Really really good customer service. Also they actually called me two times to make sure everything went well and I was happy with the product which I am ecstatic about.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Im bout to install one tomorrow in my husbands truck. Im redoing the entire interior for him as a surprise when he gets home from deployment. I cant wait to see his reaction! Ty for this video! It helps so much! I already used some jb wel plastic bonder to seal the cracks, so tomorrow is dash skin day!

Currently doing this and my dash is completely gone so I found out that if you drill holes in the spots that the factory dash bolted down and use them to hold down the side closest to windshield it works pretty good then just silicone/adhesive on the rest

My truck is a 2000 dodge ram laramie slt quad cab long bed 1500 4x4 and the factory dash only has 2 small cracks above the radio area heading toward the windshield about 4 inches long and the previous owners bought a dash skinz dash cap to save the dash before it gets really destroyed, but it is in really good condition considering the truck is a Northern ohio truck since new. And the truck was bought when the previous owner retired so it was on a farm but mainly just used to pull trailers.

Mine has a small crack. But I don’t want to put that carpet crap on there. Might have to do the whole dash itself. Maybe from lmctruck.

Hello. I know it's an old video. I just received mine a couple of days ago and will do the install soon. There are not cut outs for the five screws that run across the top/windshield area of dash. They are molded, but not cut out. Did you cut yours out? So you can remove dash in case you need to do your heater core or AC evap?

So I got mine with the new bezel for the instrument cluster. Do I take the old one off or just put the new one over it?

My idea...since the dash is brittle and prone to breaking when removing im going to cut an access hole over the glove box in the dash .... heater cores are hard to replace the idea is under the dash cover will be an access panal to hopefully access the heater core ...replace heater core leave the access hold the new dash down with double sided tape...when and if the heater breaks again ill take up the dash cover and access the heater core again.... i may try and film my attempt

Bought one for 98 dodge ram but they charge me $400 to install can anyone tell me if thats how much they charge to install top dashboard

No, they didn't come broken from the factory. They were not UV resistant and started cracking after a couple years. I had one replaced under warranty on my 03 Ram.

Keep it on the road as long as you possibly can, especially if maintaining it is much less than monthly payments.

They actually make dashes for these now that replace the oem dash made out of better material. Mine just came in today

I bought a dash replacement which I think is much much better and it's wasn't that hard to put in.

Changing the dash isn't a big job at all i did mine in about 45 mins but this is a good alternative

I would get an extra tube of silicone I ran out installing it

They need to install them at the factory because dodge is crap.
