Thanks for the video! I have an 02 type s with the same issue, so I bought the sensor for 50 bucks, and the fobs work again. If anyone is replacing there's, the sensor slides down, and you have to reach behind it and push down on a piece of plastic behind the receiver, and it'll slide right off. Easy fix, took about 5 min.
Damn, I been looking on ebay but the ones listed there are for an 05-06 rsx and it's telling me its not compatible with my 04 RSX. Do you remember the part number you got for your 02?
I have a 03 rsx type s, when i reprogram the remote everything works lock and unlock. But the next day when i use the remote to unlock the car it doesn't work. I had to reprogram the remote again in order to make it work. Can that be the problem.
Will this work if currently my key can only unlock my driver door but not the hatch or passenger door? I have already installed a new actuator for the driver door but it didnt fix anything.
i have a base and my only issue is that my right and hatch door unlock n lock with my key fob but my driver side door won’t and with my key i have to turn the key a couple times to unlock it
Mine lock all the doors and the hatch, but when I unlock only unlocks the driver door, but when I press again to unlock the passenger and the hatch, doesn’t unlock them. Any solutions? I’m sure it’s not the actuators, they unlock from the inside switch.
I have a 2002 rsx type s as well and none of my door locks are working, they all seemed to go out at once. I looked at the fuses and didnt notice an obvious sign of them being blow but i dont have a tool to test for power. How much was the part? I might just try this because i doubt all three acutators will go bad at the same time.

Yes. I fx it. But first I replace remote sensor unit but it did not fix problem. I Replace drivers door actuator it work.. then I end up replacing all door actuator. Reprogram remote everything works perfectly..
so if i can lock or unlock the door from the switch inside the car, it isnt the door actuator problem? I tried to program keyfob today it wouldnt save at the end of the procedure.
what does it mean when you try to program it and it just doesn't even go into programming...? I tried on odyssey and it worked with no problem, but my accord is not responding to programming? Thanks.
my remote control worked fine, but suddenly it stopped working, I replaced the battery, decided to re-program, the machine enters programming mode, the lock is triggered when you press the button on the remote, then I pull out the key and nothing works, this unit remembers the transmitters or the Multiplex module ?
Yeah the keyfob program, when you get a copy made, they should program the key to start the car and you should program the fob to lock and unlock the doors
