People always remember Peja's 28 footer when he was shooting from 24 feet, but everyone forgets Christie's WIDE OPEN 3 that hit the NBA logo on the backboard at 1:22. Would've given them the lead.
Such an amazing game. One of the best game 7's ever. It's too bad the NBA takes all recordings of this game down on RU-vid, yet refuses to make available on its site or even sell this game, so basically no one gets to watch it as it was originally broadcasted. If the NBA doesn't care to show it or sell it, why not allow RU-vidrs to show this classic game 7 on this platform? Makes no sense to me, but at least we get a little bit of Chick on this recording. Miss him so much.
Does anybody realizes how great this laker team was its balance Shaq and Kobe dominates this position, Kobe Horry Fisher are basically some of the most clutch players in history, Rick Fox is a tough guy and the rest of the roster is just well rounded.

I would have cried to know I lost a game that would sent me to the NBA finals for the first time in team history. Knowing that I have worked so hard over the season to be the best team and beat a team that would not want to surrender their title.

Sacramento blew game 4, Sacramento lost game 1 at home, Sacramento missed 18 3 pointers, the go ahead shot, the game winner and 14 free throws at home in game 7. Lakers got more calls in game 6..... Sacramento knows in their hearts they controlled their destiny in game 7. I think they would have lost to jersey though
If Sacramento was truly the better team, they would've won Game 7 at home. Plain as that. Bad calls don't mean rigged calls...especially not in the NBA. That means MJ's last shot with the Bulls was rigged (since there was no-call), etc etc etc. Please. Sac had their chance...and of course, blew it.

I consider real titles to be ones that weren't acheived by the aid of biased referees, but that's just me. most people don't have any decency of character or integrity anymore, so I guess I'll just have to get used to that
After this series was over I was like: The best rigged series ever. The 2009 championship was cheese. Kobe traveled for his game winner. And 2002, that was cheese too! Bibby and the Kings were better and he got hit on the nose and no call. Phantom calls were also shot clock cheese.
